Chalet Julena is an OVO Network property. It is a five-bedroom chalet for 12, with four bathrooms.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

We love its location just outside the busy market town of Thônes - despite being so close to shops and restaurants, you still get great views, a large garden and a superb furnished terrace with a hot tub.

The chalet has been well designed for holiday guests, and particularly for families. There are two triple rooms ideal for younger guests, who can also enjoy their own space in the cinema/games room on the ground floor. There are five bathrooms too, including the shower room in the well-being area on the ground floor.

The beautiful terrace and garden is a real bonus, whenever you decide to visit. The hot tub is great in the winter, particularly when it's snowing, and the furnished terrace is an ideal place for stargazing. In the summer, kids can enjoy the run of the garden and there's a pétanque court too.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Important: please note that if you book Chalet Julena and Ferme du Cortet together, the living spaces in both chalets are not large enough to accommodate a group of 24 people. For owners of electric vehicles, a flat-rate contribution of €50 towards the cost of the electricity needed to recharge the batteries will be charged on site when you arrive at the chalet. The chalet is non festive, thank you for respecting the neighbourhood.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of the Alps

Chalet Julena was simply perfect for enjoying a stay in the French Alps. With all the facilities it offers, it kept my whole family entertained, and we cooked a huge Christmas feast in the beautiful kitchen. Very clean, the place was perfectly presented. Nathalie was extremely helpful and even had a decorated Christmas tree ready for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could not fault anything.

A wonderful house in a dream location. The beds were very comfortable, everything was impeccable. The jacuzzi in the garden while it was snowing was an incredible experience. It is a house of 10!!!! We have been very comfortable and we recommend it without any doubt.

Great chalet for cyclists!

Perfect chalet for us : flat location (so no steep uphills at the end of each ride); very comfortable bedrooms, large sunny terrace with epic views and jacuzzi. Large garage for bike storage.

Chalet highly recommended.

The chalet is in a very beautiful and quiet location with great views of the mountains. The house is beautifully furnished and has a great living-dining area with an open-plan kitchen. Space for 12 people and plenty of crockery. One or 2 extra large pots in the kitchen would be handy when fully occupied. Great wood-burning stove and super terrace with jacuzzi. The hostess is very nice, but she only speaks French, but we managed to communicate. Overall, the chalet is highly recommended.

Luxury chalet in beautiful area

The chalet is superb in a lovely area and is convenient for traveling to other towns in the region. The chalet is well furnished and equipped to a high standard. The only negative is that the manager from the nearby caravan site is far too officious and wants zero noise from 11.30pm. His wishes were not really acceptable when the only noise we made was low-level talking. The caravan site may have its rules, but they shouldn't be allowed to impose their rules on nearby properties.

Stay here and spend your holidays in the beautiful French Alps!

This chalet is an amazing place to spend your holidays with the whole family and kids. You have plenty of space in the garden for whatever activity you like. The house is exactly as described in the pictures. Beds are spacious and comfortable. We can only recommend for everyone to stay here and spend your holidays in the beautiful French alps. What could be improved is the kitchen supplies. A lot is there but especially when cooking for a big group you miss big bowls, pans, ladle etc. The check-out time is not very convenient especially when travelling with a couple of small kids. A later check-out e.g. at 12pm would be much more comfortable. Depending on your plans you might need your mobile device for internet access.

Superbe chalet familial ! Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans le chalet entre amis avec 4 enfants de bas âge (3 ans), propreté irréprochable, très bonne literie, la piscine chauffée apporte un luxe incroyable à la propriété. (Tout en étant très sécurisée pour les enfants) Christophe et Nathalie sont des hôtes très disponibles et accueillants. Chalet situé à environ 25 min des premières pistes de ski (La Clusaz, Grand Bornand et Manigod) et à quelques minutes des premiers commerces de Thones. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Logement de haut standing, décoré et équipé avec beaucoup de soin. Nous avons passé un week-end très agréable et reposant. Le logement et les équipements (piscine, jacuzzi, sauna) étaient très propres. De nombreux équipements sont disponibles pour profiter pleinement du séjour (salle de jeux, home cinéma). L’hôte a facilité le contact avec une masseuse proposant des massages à domicile. La zone est très calme et entourée de magnifiques montagnes. Beaucoup de bons restaurants à Thônes. Nous pensons déjà à une prochaine visite.

Perfect Group Getaway

Nous étions 8 personnes et tout était vraiment parfait. La communication avec l’hôtesse s’est très bien déroulée, et la maison avec piscine, jacuzzi et sauna disposait de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. L’emplacement était également excellent.
