This is a wonderfully-designed house in an ideal location for the lake and for access to the Annecy area. It has a lovely garden and patio area, and is ideal for children.The very spacious property could accommodate a large number of people. That large groups stay there is indicated by the many bedrooms with multiple beds - including four bunk-beds in a basement room (of acceptable quality).There are only two issues that I would raise:- The owner did not contact us with check-in details prior to arrival. We had to contact Vrbo's customer service, after we arrived, to get in touch with them. Vrbo's service was excellent and we were able to reach to host rapidly. Once contact was established, the check-in process and management was first class, handled by a charming person living next door. I presume our experience was an exception to the usual practice.- The site has two properties which are let separately: the large house (where we stayed) and a smaller one. The fronts of the houses are at 90 degrees from each other and relatively close. They share the garden, entranceway and parking area. The site had a very pleasing sense of privacy, being shielded by tall hedges and trees. There was no one in the smaller house during our stay. However, when two separate groups are in each house, it seems to us that neither will have complete privacy in the shared garden or on their patios.
