Chalet L’Ours Blanc is a ski-in ski-out chalet only 30 metres away from the slopes, and a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the village.

With two double bedrooms, one twin and one bunkbed room, the chalet offers the perfect setting for two families with children of a similar age travelling together.

The main living space offers two seating areas, where you can make use of the TV and DVD player, or unwind in front of the log fire. This open plan area is shared with a well-equipped kitchen, which overlooks the generous dining area. 

In the heart of the Chinaillon landscape, with access to 220km of sunny pistes if you take the Aravis lift pass, this cosy Chalet is the perfect home away from home for families of all skiing abilities.

Guests can kick back and enjoy the unbeatable views of the Aiguille Verte and Mont Lachat from the comfort of the terrace and outdoor seating area, or relax in the sauna after a full day on the pistes. This chalet truly offers an all round, unforgettable experience for the whole family!

Wonderful chalet and great ski

This was our second year staying at the chalet L’Ours Blanc and our second year skiing in Le Grand Bornand. We are a family group consisting of young children, parents and grandparents and we all love it! The chalet is wonderfully set up, in a brilliant location. The snow was fantastic this year. Le Grand Bornand perfectly suits the skiing needs of our party. The design of the chalet has been very well thought out. Plenty of storage for all our gear including bulky items pushchairs, sledges etc. It’s also very beautiful ! Chinaillon has everything we need at walking distance. We will be back !!

Although regulars to La Clusaz, we hadn't visited Le Grand Bornand previous to. This wonderfully equipped Chalet is a delight: bright, spacious and about 30 seconds walk to the slopes!!! We will be enquiring to stay again! Thank you.

Lovely chalet and ideally located for the slopes and close to amenities. Spacious living area and good size bedrooms. The grandchildren loved the bunk beds! It more than lived up to our expectations and the boot warmer & sauna were a real bonus. Excellent family resort. Our group ranged from 7 to 67.

Everything the website said was accurate

Just returned from or latest trip to Le Grand Bornand, but our first (and hopefully not our last) stay in Chalet L'Ours Blanc. Very comfortable, well laid out, plenty of space, all the facilities you want and need. The local team were excellent: we were met on arrival and shown around the property and everything the website said was accurate. The (short uphill) walk to the slope was no bother even for the youngest (7 years) of our party, whilst carrying ski's/poles.

La famille a beaucoup apprécié le confort de cet excellent chalet, rendu extra spécial grâce au sauna et la cheminée. Personnellement j'ai trouvé les douches parfaites, véritables cascades d'eau chaude! I Le chalet est très bien équipé (cuisine) et le gérant charmant et très disponible. Et quel plaisir de skier dans ce merveilleux domaine, surtout à partir du seuil du chalet!
