This bright contemporary chalet was built in 2006/7, and combines modern conveniences such as underfloor heating with traditional Savoyard character.

Perched above the charming village of St-Jean-de-Sixt, just a two-minute drive away, Chalet Polanka enjoys fabulous views down the valley towards La Clusaz, and is in the perfect location for making the most of the Aravis mountains.

On the ground floor there's an open plan living area, dining table and kitchen, as well as a double bedroom, bathroom and laundry room.

On the next floor, the main open plan living area has a large dining table for communal meals and a cosy fireplace where you can catch up on the day’s news and plan the next.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note: During the Winter months as the driveway down to the garage is North-facing it gets very icy.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

This is the best Chalet out of quite a few, in which we have stayed. Extremely well appointed, comfortable and spotless. Perfectly maintained.Local manager always available if needed (we didn't) but she checked on us by messages, to make sure we had final access info, and about departure but with no pressure.The owner also made contact as she was there immediately before us. More helpful information given, with an impression that she wanted everything to be right.All in all, most highly recommended

Chalet Polanka is a lovely chalet in a nice location above the village of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and close to the main skiing area of La Clusaz. We were three families, each with two children, and we all had a great half-term week skiing. The chalet is very spacious, well-equipped and full of charm. Everything was of a very high specification and the facilities were great, with lots of attention to detail on behalf of the owner. There is a small supermarket, ski-hire shop, boulangerie and restaurant in St Jean and the car park at La Clusaz is a 15 minute drive. Although there was a lot of traffic due to half-term, we found the ski area to be generally uncrowded with lots of variety for a group of mixed age and ability - would definitely recommend both the chalet and the resort. We had a good service from OVO and the manager Christine was very helpful.

Très belle experience

Très beau chalet récent parfaitement équipé  ( bouilloire cafetière lave-linge sèche-linge lit et chaise bébé). Grands espaces intérieurs. Idéal pour un séjour à 12 personnes sans se marcher dessus. Chaque chambre possède sa sdb. Bonne isolation phonique au sein du chalet. Magnifique vue a 180° depuis les balcons. Pas de vis à vis. Secteur très calme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Recommandons fortement.

Beautiful Polanka

I wanted to thank you for opening your beautiful chalet to me and my friends this past week. From the moment we walked in we knew we had found the right place to spend our ski holiday. The views across the valley to the mountains are spectacular but it's the inside that made us smile right away. It's spacious and beautifully bright with all the big windows and doors leading to the terrace and balcony and we loved all the comfortable furniture in front of your gorgeous fireplace to lounge in after a hard day skiing. A big table for everyone to eat at (and in our case play cards), great modern kitchen, lovely bathrooms and extremely comfortable bedrooms (I loved the antique furniture in mine!) You have a beautiful home and thank you again for letting us enjoy it.

Très beau chalet, très bon accueil. Proche de La Clusaz que je recommande vivement pour ses activités d'été. Endroit parfait pour séjourner au calme et en famille. Nous avons apprécié la vue, le calme et l'esthétique intérieur du chalet , les commodités sont parfaites. Idéal comme point de départ pour le col des Aravis ou le lac/col des confins ou le cols des ânes. Très belle région et beaucoup de promenades. A une prochaine fois !
