Beautiful property. We were greeted by a family of 8 elk walking within 30 feet of us, and the stay lived up to the start. Loved it!
My only concern about the property is the driveway—if it had been snowy or rainy I’m not sure that’s the most accessible way up.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything we needed with the addition of a hot tub. We loved the convenience of the Stanley Hotel and downtown Estes all being within walking distance.
Sweet stone house in an old pine neighborhood. Great beds. Nice hot tub. Walkable to everything but quiet, serene location. Elk in the front yard. Lovely place to stay and we would rent here again.
My husband, adult son, and I had a wonderful stay at the Stonehaven home. The house is very spacious and close to everything in Estes Park. There were several deer that came by to hang out in the yard and we very much enjoyed watching them! The house and kitchen were well stocked although we didn't actually do any cooking besides breakfast. Our son really enjoyed the hot tub and there's a fenced in area behind the house which is nice if you are bringing your dog. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it!
Great location. Perfectly located close to town and Rocky Mtn. National Park. Kitchen has basic items compared to other homes I have rented in the past. Hot tub was clean and felt amazing on tired hiking legs. Could use a bit of TLC but otherwise perfect.
Really felt like we got away, yet we were two minutes from town by car. The house is historic. Exterior rock is amazing. Enclosed back yard was good for dogs. Overall very pleased. Felt almost more like a cabin in some ways. Network was solid.
Great location and comfortable house with nice furnishings. Management very responsive for a few items we wanted. Only negative is lack of outside gathering area
My son's wedding was at Della Terra. The location was perfect for a walk downtown. The place was so clean and nice, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. It was nice and quiet in the evenings, too. I would do this again.
Cabin feel. Very clean. Elk and mule deer right in the yard. Had a little trouble grilling steaks. Wished the grill would have heated up better, but overall we love this place. Hope to get back someday!
Lovely setting. Comfortable beds. Jacuzzi well maintained and kept at the perfect temperature. Spotlessly clean. Wildlife visits everyday. No annoying checks to see if we need anything; close to town if you do. Large kitchen and eating area. Absolutely love staying here. Worth the cost.
What a beautiful cottage. The Elk cam right to our yard with 3 babies. It had beautiful surroundings but also such easy access to the store and town. Any questions I had were answered almost immediately. We will definitely return!
We were so happy to find Stonehaven!! Great house in a wonderful location - remote enough for privacy yet close to town, RMNP/other sites. House was clean and very comfortable. We were lucky enough to observe wildlife (deer and elk) on the property. We had a couple questions for management which were answered promptly. The hot tub was a nice bonus and was well kept/super clean. We definitely recommend this property and hope to stay at Stonehaven again in the future.
Loved the location of the house..:within walking distance to the grocery store but just enough off the beaten path. It’s listed as a 3 bedroom but is actually 4 bedrooms with 2 king beds on the main level (mattresses are on the soft side) and 2 queen beds in the basement (mattresses were more firm). Wish there were window coverings on the basement windows!!!! Hot tub was wonderful! Saw a beautiful bull elk walking down the driveway one morning...amazing! Kitchen had a coffee maker and everything we needed. Would stay again!
We were a group of Ride the Rockies riders. The location and hot tub worked really well. There are two king bedrooms on the main level and two queen bedrooms on the lower level (this does not match the description on VRBO). Main level bedrooms share a bathroom. Downstairs bathroom is quite long and narrow in one bedroom. Kitchen is need of more plates, bowls, a toaster, and a lot of other kitchen stuff. It does have two coffee makers and a crockpot. Hot tub is really nice!
We were please to discover two separate bedrooms downstairs with Queen size beds. The living room, dining room and kitchen were all larger than the photos revealed. The kitchen was a bit sparse of items like serving bowls, dishes, spices and food storage containers.
The blinds in the dining room were dated and the view of the neighbors junkyard disappointing from the kitchen window. There was not any guide book for the house and we had to ask maintenance about starting a fire and if there was a flue to open. They responded quickly to that and other matters we had like the electric heaters tripping a breaker .We loved the location of this property and walked into town easily. Large newer Hot Tub which held 6 adults and a child was super fun. The day we left a gorgeous buck Elk showed up in the front yard.
