My Fiancé and I had a wonderful time! Highly recommend for any bird watchers or a couple who just need a weekend away. 10/10 would love to stay again. Just far enough from town to be intimate with nature, yet close enough to enjoy the shops and local eateries. Minutes away from RMNP and plenty of hiking opportunities. Loved it!!
This place is perfect for a stay in Estes, Co. It is located close to downtown. The cabin is an old fashion cabin in the mountains. Its very comfortable and has a great driveway to park vehicles and in my case a small trailer. There is a hot tub with an amazing view of the mountains. Highly recommend.
It was a wonderful property and the hosts was great to work with. The views on the comfortable deck were amazing! And great access to Rocky Mountain National Park!
Very relaxing and wonderful place to stay. The views of the Rocky Mountains from the living room to the hot tub was breathtaking and amazing. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a Colorado mountain vacation rental.
Located <5 minutes from the RMNP visitor's entrance and local shops (including the always essential coffee shops), this rental boasts beautiful views, a constant stream of hummingbirds, a warm hottub, and comfy beds. All of us had an amazing time on our vacation and would recommend this rental to all!
This was an awesome little cabin on the side of a mountain with great views of Rocky Mountain National Park. The hot tub with Mountain View was awesome. Elk even came on the property for a very up close encounter. Fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again.

Unclean on arrival no host response for 15 hrs
Property is in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. Kitchen is well stocked. When we arrived, the house was covered with white pet hair, this included floors, furniture, counters and beds. Bed linens were on the floor uncleaned as well as dirty towels in the bathtub. The kitchen was not cleaned. We immediately tried to contact Robin but he did not answer. We then called Mark the “Property Manager“ listed in the property book. However, Mark said he only takes care of the hot tub. Mark did contact the housecleaning crew. He called back and said they were not scheduled to clean it. We tried contacting Robin via the VRBO app and no immediate response. Lodging elsewhere was limited so our only option was to clean the unit ourselves. This included needing to vacuum multiple times to get the excessive pet hair with multiple vacuum canister dumps, laundry, and full bath and kitchen clean.Robin called the following day, a good 15 hours later. He offered to send the cleaning crew out which at that point was unnecessary because we cleaned the unit ourselves. He then offered to refund us a whole 200, which was offensive, as “that is what he pays the cleaning crew”. At no time during that the conversation did we hear “I am so sorry this happened to you”. What he said “I’ve never had this happen in six years. I sent them the updated cleaning schedule on May 6th.” He eventually refunded us 350.What you do get is amazing views on the side of a mountain.

Why they chose this property
This property was built by my Grandfather in the 1940's and has passed to my mother and we have primarily used this as a family cabin exclusively. We decided to open the cabin up to the public due to my mothers ill health and limited use.
What makes this property unique
Very Private location with amazing views off the large deck facing the National Park. We have done significant improvements to the property over the last 15 years to make it more and more relaxing and enjoyable. We are very close to the National park entrance (2 Miles) and to downtown Estes Park (2 Miles) We have a hot tub that looks out toward the National Park located on the deck to the right of the large deck. We offer Free Wifi, and Cable.
