My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to Lake George Village but far enough to not feel crowded. The store nearby was great to get morning coffee as well as dinner and entertainment.

Great little spot!

The property was just what we needed - comfy, neat and close to everything in Lake George Village…but not TOO close! WiFi handled video calls with no issue and the tasty eats and live music at the Cleverdale Store were just steps away. Would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect spot for us to homebase our mini get away from. We toured the Lake, visited the forts, shopped and dined. Then we had this great little cabin to return to for the night so we could start all over the next day.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night getaway at The Cozy Cottage. Perfect description! We enjoyed all Lake George and surrounding areas like Bolton Landi g, all a short drive away from the cottage. Cottage was charming, very clean, modern amenities, we did some cooking and all items available to do so. The country store was wonderful, able to pick up farm fresh tomatoes, etc. We loved our stay!!

Perfect little cabin for a convenient Lake George visit

The cabin and surrounding property are cozy, private, and very convenient. Easy parking, and easy to find. We had a great time exploring the area, with short drives to great hikes, beaches, and Lake George village. The Country Store on the property has everything you may need during your stay, and a wide range of breakfast and lunch options. The propery is on a main road that has occasionally loud traffic on it, but the cabin is set far enough back that this is only a minor issue.

We spent three nights in this cabin. When we arrived It was clean and we found everything we needed. The owner welcomed us and offered all the help we needed. They even offered us to leave late if we needed to. Great people there. We will be back if we need to. Thank you.

A Little Gem Near Lake George

This unassuming little cabin, convenient to excellent hiking and beautiful Lake George, is perfect for a couple who wants peace and quiet. The outside is modest, but when you open the door you are greeted with the smell of fresh wood, a cozy interior, and everything you need for your visit. The hosts Meg and Jeff are very hospitable. Plus if you forget anything, you can purchase it at their nearby country store. This is the second time we have stayed at their property. Highly recommended!

Great cabin at a reasonable rate!

This is our second time staying here and it’s worth the money. The general store a few steps away on the property was great for purchasing our morning coffee. The cabin inside is kept very clean. The outside needs some TLC. Also we had a bad storm the first night there and the tree right next to the cabin has some hard acorns that were falling into the roof all night long. We didn’t get much sleep that night. Perhaps prune that tree back away from the roofline. Otherwise we would stay here again.

What a great find!

The cabin was spacious and clean. The owners were accessible because they own the store on the property and are very nice people. It was easy to get coffee in the morning by just walking down the hill to the store! We will definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. It was clean and had all the essentials. We were sorry the store was closed most of the time we were there (fall hours), but I did get a grilled Reuben before we left. Delicious!

COZY GET-A-WAY

This was a cozy cabin, in a perfect location to all the places I went while there. It's right off of Rt 9 so you are not secluded to deep in the woods. Since I'm a city girl, I needed the lights from the road to make me feel at ease. Meagan and Jeff are the best hosts. They are very attentative and just out right polite and professional. I loved the decorum, and spacious grounds, I'd love to go back when the weather is much warmer. It was a bit clammy the beginning of May. I look foward to returning.
