This old renovated and refurbished tower is located on one of the most prestigious parcels of the Maison M. Chapoutier, "The Pavilion". It enjoys an exceptional panorama: the slopes of Saint-Joseph, the vineyards as far as the eye can see and the castle of Tournon-sur-Rhône. The SNCF train station is 650 m.
On the ground floor: equipped kitchen. On the floor: 1 room (1x180) with apparent framework, room of water. Private terrace overlooking the vineyard. Electric bicycles, wine tastings, visit of the vineyard and option "cellar filled at your arrival" on request.

We had a wonderful stay in the Chapoutier Gite "La Tour du Pavillon" in the midst of perhaps the best vineyard on the hill of Hermitage. A Syrah lover's dream. Although it is small (about 27 sq m/290 sq ft per the description) it is so well equipped. The staff was extremely helpful for check in and check out, and quickly took care of the one maintenance issue we encountered even though it was very late in the evening. Such a magical location and we hope to return again soon.
Our only regret is not staying longer. Nested in the vineyard, the home is a perfect, comfortable landing place to explore the region. We enjoyed being among the vines and fully relaxing in this little paradise. I would caution anyone with mobility issues as there are stairs that separate the toilet from the sleeping area, but it was not an issue for us. From the communication to the recommendations to the accommodation- just wonderful. Cannot recommend enough!

This was our 2nd stay at he Gite, an it did not disapoint. We were there for the last day of the harvest. It was good for ones soul, and good to relax and unwind. We will stay again on our next visit to France. AAA+++
A very cool, unique property, especially for wine lovers/wine geeks, perfect for 1 or 2 people. Is set in the vineyards, dirt road down to town and stairs in the building itself, so a little exercise is naturally included. Wine fridge was a really nice bonus.

A small piece of heaven
Words do not convey the beautiful location and expansive vistas this Gite provides. Well appointed and clean. It is good for your soul and to clear ones mind of the stresses of everyday life. I will return here.

Great place!
We loved this house for its location and views. Though small, it was clean and nicely equipped. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace overlooking a vineyard. We even hiked to the top of the hill one morning! Both downstairs and upstairs AC units were working well, which was a huge deal for us due to hot August weather. Check in and check out were easy and we got all our questions answered in a timely manner.Thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!
