Our Friends House- Quiet, Comfortable Retreat on 5 acres

Enjoy this peaceful setting in one of the sweetest spots in the Flathead Valley. Centrally located, this country escape rests on five acres just outside of Kalispell, along the backwaters of the Flathead River.

While you explore all our valley has to offer, you’ll have the convenience of being 10 minutes from Kalispell, 20 minutes from Bigfork and Columbia Falls, 25 minutes to Whitefish, 30 minutes to Glacier, and 45 minutes to skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

When you’re ready to kick up your feet and chill, this 3,500 sq. ft house has you covered with plenty of places to lounge inside or out. This home offers 5 spacious bedrooms. The master has a king bed, two bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has a full bed and the large bunk room sleeps four.

Enjoy the view of the mountains to the east as you drink your morning coffee in the screened porch. Relax in the new seven person hot tub after a day of exploring Glacier National Park. Then take in a gorgeous sunset on our large covered west facing deck to finish out your day.

This is a no shoes house. We do have hardwood floors and finished concrete so slippers are recommended. My kids like sliding around in socks.
We have a cat that lives outside. Do not leave the door open as it tries to get inside, but is not trained to be inside. Please do not feed her!
We own inside the white fence and up to the edge of the hill. Please stay out of the barn and shop. Also, please keep off our neighbors property.

This was our 4th consecutive year for our family group of 12 ( 6 adults; 6 children) to rent a vrbo near a National Park. This was by far, the most fully equipped home yet. The property was immaculate and the wildlife was abundant. We enjoyed the east facing, screened sunroom in the am, and we enjoyed the upper deck, hot tub and firepit, on ground level, in the pm. We were so lucky that we booked this property 10 months in advance.

The property was listed for 12 people, which is what we had. I was worried we would be crowded. Not the case at all. We had lots of room in this house. Even had a bed we didn't use. We love the home and property. We were a 3 generation family (2-80) and the home was comfortable for everyone. Beautiful sunsets from the large deck. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect family-friendly retreat to explore Glacier

This was the best managed air b&b/VRBO property I have ever stayed at. The property was immaculately maintained and stocked with everything an extended family of all ages could want. The location is great for being close to all the essentials but out of town enough to relax and have privacy. I would highly recommend this house for large groups looking to explore Glacier and the surrounding area

Great Quiet Country Place

Well equipped roomy house w/beautiful views. Did not have a lot of down time to fully utilize what it offered, but it was there including a hot tub. Downstairs bunk room could sleep up to 6 and the huge couch could handle another two.

Family vacation getaway.

Beautiful views, quiet, and wonderful for star gazing. Great location for going to Glacier NP and getting into Kalispell for food shopping and souvenoirs. Beautiful area! Anya and Dallas were very accommodating about letting us use their dryer because the one in the house was broken. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Family vacation

House and property was exactly as listed. Beautiful surroundings with lots of amenities. Close to quaint little towns and great shopping. Drive in to the park was breathtaking. Definitely need to get your car registered and obtain park passes well in advance of visit. Owners were on site and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Stay for a Perfect Trip

There aren’t enough words for how perfect Our Friends House is. I travel a lot and this is hands down the best place I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The house is incredibly well appointed and Dallas and Anya are thoughtful and kind hosts. We had a busy trip planned but it was so tempting to just sit and enjoy the view from the porches. Highly recommend and we hope to be back!

Perfect Stay!

My family and friends had the opportunity to stay at Anya and Dallas’s beautiful home for a week. The home was exactly like the pictures! We had everything we needed for our stay. The view from both porches was incredible. Anya was also very helpful in finding things to do and answering all of our questions. We couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Montana!

Amazing!!!

This place is just perfect. The views, the screened in porch, the deck overlooking the backyard are all just perfect. The house has everything you need and more. I drank my morning coffee on the porch and watched the sunrise over the mountains everyday- just perfect!! The bed and bedding is very comfortable. This is a great central location for Whitefish, Kalispell, and Glacier Park. I couldn't recommend it more and would definitely go back!! Dallas and Anya are wonderful people!

Family trip to Montana

The property was beautiful and exactly as described on website. The home is large with two patio areas to relax and enjoy the beauty of Montana. All essentials were adequately stocked for our entire stay. After returning from our daytime activities, we enjoyed time around the fire pit and hot tub. Best place ever!!!

We cannot say enough about this wonderful home! It is by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed at! The location is breathtaking and the house is absolutely beautiful! Easy drive to Glacier and Whitefish. Kalispell has everything you could possibly need. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and were always quick to respond. If we could give ten stars we would! Our whole family was sad to leave!

Beautiful Paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dallas and Anya’s beautiful place! We saw deer, elk and turkeys in the field behind their house! The location is so peaceful and quiet while being close to stores etc. The house was immaculately clean and the most well stocked vacation home we have ever stayed at! Dallas and Anya are incredible hosts and were so flexible and willing to work with us when we needed to check in early and leave a little late due to our flight times. We absolutely would stay in their home again if we ever have opportunity!

Beautiful Country Home

The house and property were amazing. The views were spectacular. We Enjoyed the screen in porch for most of our meals, especially with kids. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and play equipment. The night of the bonfire was the highlight of the day. The ability to was clothes was nice, especially with a newborn in the house. I only with that we were a bit closer to town, but wouldn't change anything else. Thank you Anya and Dallas for a great stay.

GNP 2023 First Time Visit

The perfect house, spectacular views, and plenty of privacy for 6 couples with great sleeping arrangements, number of restrooms and common spaces for eating meals together after spending long days in the park. Hot tub, fire pit and screened in porch were awesome additions to the experience. Great location for West Park entrance, East Park entrance, local breweries and Whitefish. Home owners were very friendly, accommodating and responsive when needed. Expectations as visitors to the home were clearly explained. Great storage for food and beverages with extra fridge/freezer. Laundry amenities were a plus. A very memorable stay.

Why they chose this property

When we bought this house we appreciated It’s central location in the Flathead Valley. There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy so close to home. Wether mountain biking, fishing, hiking or laying on a beach, everything is nearby. In the winter we ski at Whitefish Mountain Resort and in the summer we’re on Echo or Flathead Lake. We also love being so close to Glacier National Park.

What makes this property unique

At this home you will enjoy end of the road privacy and no traffic noise. A one mile lane for walks or bike rides with the kids. Five acres to play on. Wildlife, and birdwatching right out the door. Fire pit and marshmallow sticks a few steps from the house. Woodys country store is only a few miles away if you run out of any essentials.
