So good, beautiful home by a beautiful lake run by people who care about quality. Very happy with our experience. Our families come from lots of places to be together for one week, so Important to have good communication, a well maintained home in a perfect locale. Thks for everything Robert. You'll see us again!!!
Beautiful home...absolutely loved the area....we enjoyed our time so much..clean and easy communication with owners and property caretaker..thank you so much!!
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and fit our large family comfortably! The location on the lake was amazing. The kids loved swimming and paddle boarding. We would love to make this place our new summer tradition for our family! Thanks for letting us stay!
We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home for families. It was very clean and perfect for families with little kids. The lake is fantastic to swim in, kayak, and any other water activities. The sunsets were gorgeous and we would highly recommend it!
So amazing. Beautiful home. Very clean. Perfectly appointed. Communication outstanding....would give 6 stars if i could. Our family is very thankful for an incredible time together...
This beautiful home is a perfect location for a getaway, away from the hubbub of city but close enough for great restaurants, grocery, etc. AND the whole area is gorgeous. There were builders next door and construction across the lake, so not exactly the peace we expected when outside the house. But the owners provided everything we needed. I want to go back just to cook in that fabulous kitchen!! A very comfortable home and we enjoyed it so much.
We loved our week stay at the Lake House at Lake Blaine! The home is just lovely and fit all of us comfortably! The dock was perfect and my husband and friends loved fishing off there daily, even catching a few small bass (catch and release). The home was equipped with everything we needed, and the extra touches the Marshalls added made it very special. We enjoyed the fire pit one night as well and of course the hot tub! Robert was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions! The one thing I would suggest is adding a full length mirror somewhere. We were visiting for wedding and it would have been convenient to have when getting ready. Otherwise, our stay was excellent and we would definitely go back! Thank you to the Marshall Family!
This house is a beautiful newer home on a small lake-Lake Blaine- about 20 minutes outside of Kalispell.
It’s a spacious and comfortable house with ample room for a much bigger group than we had. We had everything we needed in the large kitchen and cooked in most nights. It is a very well apportioned and pleasant home. So why the three stars? The unfortunate truth is that for 4 of the 8 nights we rented the home we could not use the outside enjoyment because of the family next door. The owners of the property next door decided to use their property this week for a family and friends get together. Each of the 4 nights they were there they were partying on their back deck that virtually connects to this homes back deck. There is about 40 feet between the two decks, so their music, loud conversations and noise made it impossible to sit outside. We notified Robert 3 separate times, and he responded by text only saying they were friends with these owners next door and hopefully they should quiet down. He did not contact them nor call us at anytime despite this input. It was so bad on the third night that we were hearing them through the closed windows both upstairs and down. I personally had to be the one to go next door and ask them all to please quiet down as folks were trying to sleep. Something I have never had to do at a VRBO property before. When we reported this to Robert nothing was done, and he said hopefully they won’t be there all week. In addition, a couple of days into our stay, we were asked by Robert if it would be possible for a neighbor to use the boat access on the property we rented. Being neighborly we said certainly that would be fine. We walked out the front door and the boat was already parked next door at the noisy neighbors- so clearly this was known beforehand. The pontoon boat was put in and taken out in the backyard of the property we rented.
This is a lovely home but be extremely aware that the home next door is also rented periodically too. The fact the next-door owners themselves clearly don’t care how much noise they are making for any other neighbors is telling. It’s a roll of the dice for you if you will have people right next door- while the homes are not attached, they are exceptionally close divided only by a fence. If you do not have anyone
next door, then the stay would be lovely. If you do, just be aware it will be very loud as the properties are almost connected.
The house was gorgeous and well equiped with all the extras that make your stay more enjoyable. The owners go above and beyond to think of everything. My daughter was getting married in Glacier National Park and this house was the perfect place to stay with my adult children and 2 grand babies to share together. Everyone had room to spare and it was nice that a highchair, pack and play and games, books and toys were provided. Thank you for a very memorable stay.
Robert's place was fantastic! What a wonderful setup. We have been going to Lake Blaine for many years and this was the best vacation yet, with the best house rental we have had! Thank you for hosting us.
We just had our second trip to this home. It's a lovely home just a few feet from the water with a beautiful dock, great swimming, and great boating of all kinds. We love it here!
This was a return stay for our family, 8 adults and 5 small children. The home is perfect for a multi-generation group. Kitchen has all you’d need for a large group. Large bedrooms with bathrooms allows everyone personal space (especially nap time). The host family is wonderful and quick to help or answer questions.
They really thought of everything. From the kitchen being well stocked with spices, appliances and cookware, to fun family games to outdoor toys. While the weather did not cooperate with us the majority of our stay (rain and flooding all around) one cannot squawk about spending quality family time together in a beautiful house on the lake. Fishing was great. If I was to give one negative, it’d be the light switches. It was a nice feature for all of the water closets to have an automatic light. However, the bedroom light switches as well as the pantry left us baffled. Sometimes meant sleeping with a light on or using a flash light in the pantry. Perhaps it would be helpful to include a brief tutorial in the visitor manual, as most of us don’t have light switches with 20 (maybe a slight exaggeration) buttons.
We would definitely stay here again. Next time hopefully with better weather.
Our stay on Lake Blaine was enjoyed by everyone, ages 5-73! The house accommodated our seven adults and two children easily and it was so nice for each couple to have their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of linens and towel, tv's everywhere, beautiful hot tub and comfy furniture. The lake itself was clean, calm and the easy access made it fun for little ones and adults. The owner provided many fun toys for young and old... kayak, paddle boards and pedal boat, corn hole, sand toys, games, etc. The owner was a great host and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and more. We were all sad to leave and hope to return someday.
What a great house! The lake is beautiful, the house was super nice and had everything we needed, in fact the interior was even nicer than shown on the pictures, the kitchen had everything folks who like to cook would need, great that there was firewood available, the neighborhood is super charming, hot tub, grill, items for the lake, bedding and linens were super nice, all great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We arrived to a clean Beautiful home! Everything was ready for us to start our vacation on Amazing clean Lake Blaine! This home has everything you need for use. The hot tub was fun and a great plus! We would love to come back someday!

I grew up in the Flathead Valley and I have fond memories of water skiing and wake boarding in the summer and ice skating or skiing (Whitefish) in the winter. This home is in the perfect location to enjoy all the entire valley has to offer with quick access to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, and Flathead Lake.
Why they chose this property
This property has incredible lake availability in one of the most beautiful areas in the Flathead Valley. It is a perfect location to launch your boat for an awesome day on the lake or relax when returning from one of the many spectacular sights from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain, or Flathead Lake. It will be a vacation you will never forget.
What makes this property unique
Lake Blaine is a private Lake, meaning the is no public boat launch. This makes the lake less busy and easier to enjoy. It is also a shallower lake and so the water temperature is very nice.
