We have been to Aix in March and April for the last three years, love this time of year in the south of France. This property is centrally located to all the great markets, cafés, restaurants and car parks if you are driving. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
loved our stay here. we came in the middle of winter but as Australians we were so impressed with how heated the place could get, even when -5 celsius overnight. Great amenities. Great location, right in the centre of the old town.
I loved staying here-the neighborhood, being in an old building but with a cute, funky retro interior. Stayed for 3 weeks and it felt very comfortable. Host was very responsive whenever I needed to contact her.
Fantastic location and charming/quirky appartment. Would definitely go backA bit of a confusing process to get the keys at first but after that good process
I enjoyed an extended stay in the charming apartment that has a very "period" feel in the heard of the old town section of Aix. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay. Marie, the owner, is extremely helpful and aims to ensured that I had everything I needed for a positive stay. The location is superb, very convenient to the old town and all it has to offer. I would definitely stay again.
The apartment itself is full of charm, and the location can’t be beat. Noemi is very kind and helpful. I had an absolutely wonderful stay, the city is enchanting and everything is easily walkable from the apartment, I hope to return one day!
Excellently situated apartment, right in the centre. Clean, well-equipped and quiet. Communication with the property owner and manager was first rate. Highly recommended.
We spent 3 nights in the heart of the Old City. Checking in and out, we had good communication. Note, there are a number of stairs to the apartment.I would recommend.
The stay was great. No air condition but the fans were more then enough. Well equiped kitchen. Perfect for cozy dinners. The host was very helpful and acomodating.
Greetings from Sweden.
All very good except there is no WiFi. If you need WiFi in Aix don’t stay in the Old Town because it’s very difficult to get WiFi because the walls are too thick. So we never had it and couldn’t watch television either. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable apartment in great location.
This apartment is in an ideal location, a block from the Cathedral and walkable to everywhere in central Aix. It is clean and airy with all the expected conveniences. There is no air conditioning but there are plenty of fans. There are steps up to the toilet and also to the shower which is awkward for anyone with impairedMobility. Overall this is a great and convenient place to stay—highly recommended!
Charming location, close to restaurants and market
We enjoyed our stay. The flat is quirky and individual, which we liked. The toilet arrangement (up some awkward stairs off the kitchen) is a bit strange. And it wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues as it’s up two flights of spiral stairs. The property is very quiet and peaceful despite being very close to the centre. The restaurant next door is excellent.
Aix en Provence is beautiful. The apartment was convenient to everything in the village. The WiFi hardly worked which was very frustrating, it was difficult to get our host to respond. Our weekend stay in the village and surrounding area was wonderful but our apartment stay was just ok..

Ruth,
Thank you very much for the feedback- the internet is working as long as you enter the correct password- with no spaces. You had both our telephone numbers Noemie and I and next time text WhatsApp or call instead of sending email. I replied as soon as possible. So happy you enjoyed your stay and the location of the apartment- kind regards , Marie - Pierre
Exploring Aix en Province while escaping the Canadian wi ter
I stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in the old city close to the sites. As it is within a pedestrian area it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen living room faced onto a courtyard allowing the sunlight into the space. The kitchen was well equipped. Noemi met me in the town square and took me to the apartment a few minutes walk away and showed me around.
Very nice apartment in an excellent location near the historic centre. On 3rd floor with spiral staircase. Very good wifi and well equipped apartment. Toilet off launch and up a stair which is a little odd but it’s in an old building. Washer/dryer and dishwasher all appreciated.

Disliked: Check-in
Simple, pretty, great location!
Rented this for my son and his fiancé while we were nearby in Aix. As it was literally steps from where I had lived years ago in my twenties, it hit all the right notes. I wanted something charming, authentic, tasteful and clean. It's right in the heart of the city, yet a quiet street. Check-in was the only negative as it was pouring rain-- which is unusual in Aix--- and we had to wait outside15 minutes for the manager to get there. That said, I would definitely rent it again or recommend it to friends.

Thank you Jeanne for your nice words - so pleased you liked it ! And again , like expressed upon your arrival - so sorry for the waiting time. Unforeseen circumstances made this delay to occur - kind regards
The location in the old town was very close to the center. And the apartment was in a quiet corner, away from the crowds. It was perfect. A two minute walk to many restaurants and historic sights. I loved the old building. It made me feel like a part of the old neighborhood. I could watch the street activity morning and evening from the window. I liked hearing the church bells too. The apartment was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bed was one of the best I ever slept in. I highly recommend this apartment.
The apartment was exactly as described. It is right in the middle of Old Aix, three minutes walk to the Cathedral and Cour Mirabeau and close to everything. It is well furnished, comfortable and well equipped.
We had an issue with the TV and Noemie was over in an instant to assist us. Great place that I would recommend to anyone. I would not recommend if you have mobility issues as the apartment is on the second floor of an older building with circular stairwell. It could be charming for some but challenging for others.
My daughter studies in Aix, so she checked out the location before I booked. She wishes she lived there! It is near Hotel D’ville (city hall) and in the middle of everywhere we wanted to be—flower/ vegetable markets, close to many restaurants and shops. Easy walk to bus station for day trips and Marseilles airport. We felt very safe in the apartment and the neighborhood both day and night. The 28 WONDERFUL stone spiral steps up to the apt were a challenge with my big suitcase, but if this 60 year old woman can make it, you can too! Apt was perfect for my daughter and me. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, nice bathroom. Many thanks to Marie Pierre and Samira who worked with me on check in time. I want to come back to Aix, and I want to stay here!!

Dear Claire, thank you very much for choosing to stay in our apartment and your very nice words for it. We are always so happy when our visitors are able to appreciate the location of it, it’s equipment and its atmosphere. So so happy you liked it and you had a great time visiting your daughter. Thank you for your kind words also for Samira - she is great !
All the best
My husband and I booked this apartment for a week in February. The location in the historic central city of Aix is excellent with a plethora of shops, restaurants, cafes, and other amenities nearby. The apartment itself is in a historic building with some of the quirky features inherent to structures like this (winding entry stairs and a toilet room separate from and across the apartment from the room with a sink and shower). The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, which is great for cooking in, and the shower/bathroom sink area looks recently redone. Overall the apartment was comfortable and we would there stay again. However, it had the feeling of not having been occupied for some time before we arrived. It was very dusty and the floors were dirty throughout. Not a dealbreaker but something worth mentioning.
