A spacious, well equipped holiday home, with amazing outdoor space including a newly renovated terrace and new pool as of 2022. The terrace, pool & summer house have fabulous mountain views of the Serra De Tramuntana, listed as part of the UNESCO World Heritage list.

The house is a very typical Mallorcan property with many original features and updated to include many home comforts! The property is perfectly arranged to maximise outdoor living, with the kitchen and living room at the top of the house and within steps of the built-in BBQ, terrace, pool & summer house which is perfect for some shade!

You will step from a pretty courtyard into the typical Mallorcan Entrada, a perfect spot to cool down.

The property has two bathrooms, one with a bath and both with a shower, w/c, heated towel rail and wash basin.

There are two bedrooms, one with a large bed that can be made into a twin room if required, and one with a double bed.

We have stayed in Fornalutx and Binaraix many times over the last 25 years. The views from this terrace are one of the best. The night sky is clear, location perfect for us to walk from. The steps up from the square kept us fit. We are in our mid 70s but might find this challenging in our 90s. The car park route suggested is easier. There were 4 of us so we used it like two separate flats. Ideal for two couples.

Lovely property with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces. Nice pool and terrace for sunbathing with super views across the town and valley. Nice mini market, bakers , bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes. Excellent base for walking etc.

Staircase to Heaven

As a first trip abroad since before Lockdown, our 8 day stay in this special place ticked all the boxes. Peaceful place in a village with everything we needed, we would have no hesitation in recommending this property although the many steps up from the village could be too great a challenge for some. We regarded them as a way of keeping fit.

The property is in a lovely village that has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The house itself is full of character, well maintained and also has everything you could need - including extras like a much appreciated bottle of wine and plenty of fresh fruit. The booking process was simple and Jill and Lee help out with providing a money transfer link to a company that is good value. All made very easy. There's lots to do in the area and if you have a car and can get out and about there is stunning scenery to be enjoyed. I'd recommend it to friends without hesitation and hope to return

Beautiful property in a stunning location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful quirky Spanish property. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The outdoor space was such a delight and a wonderful place to chill and relax. The pool, although cold when you first got in, was wonderful, very clean and beautifully lit in the evenings. The village is stunning and we ate there several times all of which were really good, we also walked down to the bakery every morning for breakfast bread and pastries to eat outside next to the pool - perfect way to start the day. Yes it’s a bit of a steep uphill climb from the car park and village but doable even if you are not that fit also the property is over 3 floors, but it burnt off the breakfast and dinner calories 👍😃 We would highly recommend this property and the communication with the owners Lee and Jill was excellent. We love Majorca and this property has been our favourite place by far so will make this our go to place to stay. Thanks again 😃

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay at Fornalutx … except for the mosquitoes which were particularly prevalent this year ! Fornalutx is a very pretty village with many cafes and restaurants. There are many steps from the village square up to the house. The house delivered everything that was described. I would just add that the house is spread over three floors, so quite a few steps. Also just watch out for the step between the lounge and the kitchen. The stairs will keep you fit but it’s worth knowing. The owners communication was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They were very helpful with questions we had. There’s also a very good bus route to Soller. We hired a car but didn’t use it ! Great walk to Soller too. Hope to be back someday.

Wonderful views in Fornalutx

We enjoyed our two week stay in this rustic village house. The views from the terrace area were fantastic, a lovely spot to sit and enjoy an evening meal and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Evening drinks in the village square was a highlight which helped tackle the numerous steps back up to the house. The house was pretty well equipped but we only had one bath towel each for two weeks which meant the washing machine got a lot of use! One thing we should mention is that the village parking facilities are very stretched these days which resulted in us being reluctant to use our hire car as much as normal for fear of losing our space in the car park. This is not the fault of the property, may not be an issue early and later in the season, and we were aware of it (and the steps!) before booking. We've visited Fornalutx a number of times and you just have to accept that it's part of the nature of staying in this beautiful part of the island. Fortunately the bus service is very efficient so that provides a means of getting out and about. We would definitely recommend this holiday home as lovely place to stay!

Bezaubernde Finca in traumhafter Lage

Wir können die Finca sehr empfehlen. Die Eigentümer Jill≤e waren sehr gut erreichbar bei Fragen&Probleme. Wichtig zu wissen, die Finca verfügt über keine A/C. Auch gibt es keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Es gibt einige kostenfreie Parkplätze ca. 5 Min. fußläufig von der Finca. Allerdings kann es in der Hochsaison schwierig werden.

A perfect stay in Fornalutx

Eine erholsame Woche in einer Umgebung, wo die Zeit kaum eine Rolle spielt verbrachten wir bei herrlichstem Wetter .Das authentische, alte Stadthaus verlangt allerdings einen Bezug zur Historie, denn nicht immer sind die gewohnten Durchgangshöhen zu den Räumen gegeben, oder auch die ein oder andere „ausgeblühte“ Stelle im Mauerwerk gilt es im Erdgeschoss zu tolerieren.Aber dies macht man gerne, da das Haus stilvoll hergerichtet ist und ansonsten kaum einen Wunsch offen läßt. Die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig kann der Einkauf getätigt werden, lediglich mühevoll (gerade bei der Ankunft ) der Transfer vom Parkplatz zur Casa mit Gepäck. Summa summarum: Das Ferienhaus und die Aussicht auf das Tramuntana Gebirge bieten beste Möglichkeiten der Erholung und Ausflüge in die herrliche Natur.

Das Haus befindet sich am oberen Rand des wirklich sehr schönen Dorfes. Das Gepäck ist einige Stufen zum Haus zu tragen. Das Haus selbst ist typisch mallorquinisch und entsprechend alt. Aufgrund der alten Mauern ist der untere Bereich des Hauses in den kühleren Jahreszeiten leider etwas feucht und demzufolge kühl. Die vorhandene Elektroheizung sorgt allerdings für ausreichend Wärme um hier Abhilfe zu schaffen.

Super dejligt hus med en fantastisk lille gårdhave med super udsigt. Meget stor fornøjelse at bo i det hus som har alle bekvemmeligheder og som er smagfuldt indrettet. Eneste minus ved det dejlige hus, er det store soveværelse i grundplan. Har man allergi, hvilket jeg har, kan det ikke bruges, da rummet er fugtigt og der lugter svagt af skimmelsvamp i det rum. Jeg flyttede op på 1 sal i det andet soveværelse og havde ingen problemer med at være i huset. Dejligt hus, dejlig udsigt, som ligger i en dejlig by med gode resturanter

Wonderful stay in Fornalutx

We had a lovely time in Jill and Lee’s beautiful house. It is full of character and exactly as shown in the pictures. We especially enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace and admiring the views over the village of Fornalutx and the imposing mountains surrounding it. Lee and Jill are excellent hosts who are quick to respond to any queries and provided us with all the info we needed to find the place easily. They even let us extend our check out time despiste us asking on a very short notice. Highly recommend trying out their house, especially if you are looking for a good base to explore the Tramuntana mountains and the west coast of Mallorca
