We had a great day and the host was so generous and letting us do an earlier check-in. The spa pool was nice since the weather was cooler, like a giant Jacuzzi! The house was cozy and comfortable and walking distance to the cute down La Quinta area. Thank you again!

The property was perfect! Not only because it was located right next door to my daughter, who I was visiting. It was clean and spacious and is in close proximity to anything you would need. Some of which is in walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool.This is the first time I i have used VRBO. The experience makes it a definite consideration for future vacays.

Home away from home

The property is in a good location and offers plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, which made sleeping easy and enjoyable.That said, there were a few notable downsides that impacted our stay. The home did not appear to have been properly cleaned prior to arrival. The bathroom sink was dirty with visible toothpaste residue and hair, and there was dog hair throughout the primary bedroom—on the bed, sheets, and floor—which transferred onto our clothes. Fortunately we’re not allergic to dogs. This was especially disappointing given expectations around cleanliness.Additionally, the pool heater was not functioning properly. While the owner did notify us about this shortly before our arrival, it was too late at that point to make alternative arrangements, which limited our ability to fully enjoy the property.Overall, the space itself has a lot of potential, but the cleanliness issues and lack of a working pool heater took away from what could have been a much better experience.

Weekend Getaway

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with some friends. Their kitchen was wonderful-fully stocked. Their pool is the perfect size and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. Plenty of room for us and having a private pool was amazing!

Great house, great location, great host!

Teryl's house was very comfortable and well equipped. Teryl made us feel very welcome, he was quick to respond to our questions and an overall great host. The location in the Cove is wonderful. Close to hiking trails, close to old town LaQuinta and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our month long stay.
