Lowcountry Luxury. Classic, comfortable, and inviting oceanfront home with newly added private pool on the Isle of Palms! This traditional beach home will bring back fond memories of those family retreats by the sea. With 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, it will accommodate up to 12 of your family members and friends. New smart TV added outside by the pool as well.

The first floor consists of an open great room with kitchen, living room and dining room. The ocean view living room has comfortable seating in front of large sliding glass doors for an uninterrupted view. The pool is conveniently located on the main living floor, perfect for the family and the lights make night swims fun. The entertainment center with 75" flat panel TV/Blu Ray/Stereo system/CD and iPod dock, is ideal for all ages and preferences. Wireless internet and cable TV are included in the house. The wall to wall, glass sliding doors lead out to the large screened porch which contributes additional living space. It is furnished with a table and plenty of seating. The dining room table seats 8 and there is a breakfast table in the sitting area that will seat an additional 4. The 4 counter island stools in the kitchen are perfect for serving the kid's snacks! The open kitchen with plenty of countertop space makes meal preparation a breeze! There is a full bath located off the living room and a newly update utility room with futon and streaming tv (no Cable) for the kids. Also in the utility room is a Full size washer/dryer, utility sink and additional refrigerator. The gas BBQ grill is conveniently located on the front porch which has also been recently renovated to add a swing bed for enjoying shady afternoon naps in the ocean breeze. A beach shower is also provided for convenience!

The Master Bedroom is located off of the main living area and consists of a King bed, smart TV and ocean view which steps out onto the new pool deck. The private master bath offers a walk in shower and double sink vanity. The second floor features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The first bedroom with an ocean view has a King bed and smart hd TV. The second ocean view bedroom has a Queen bed and smart hd TV. A third bedroom has a Queen bed with an additional bunk bed plus a smart hd TV. And the last bedroom has 2 Twin beds and 1 set of Bunk beds plus a smart hd TV. The upstairs bathrooms include a one tub/shower and one walk in shower, and are located off the main hallway for access by all the bedrooms on this floor.

The large, grassy backyard is the perfect spot for the kids to play a game of Frisbee or a friendly game of touch football! A stroll down the private boardwalk leads you to the beautiful Isle of Palms sandy beach and sparkling Atlantic Ocean! Recently added is a screened in gazebo for enjoying the ocean breeze without the need to worry about bugs. This house also is also located about 1 block away from the Isle of Palms Recreation center, located at 28th Ave on Cameron Blvd, which boasts wonderful sports facilities such as tennis, basketball, baseball, soccer, playground, etc! Please note this is an older-style beach home.

For guests interested in enjoying the area by water, a boat slip is available to rent. The slip accommodates vessels up to 30 feet; however, the owners’ jet skis will remain docked during your stay. Guest must provide their own boat or jet skis – this is dock rental only. Rental fees are $100 per day for jet skis or boats up to 30 feet. Convenient, gated trailer parking is provided through nearby parking area. All boat slip rentals will need to contact the office directly to setup at time of booking.

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

The home is wonderful with many amenities. The ocean is visible from the property and the beach is only a few minutes walk. Communication with Island Realty was easy and pleasant. The only cleanliness issue I had was that there was pet hair on the cushioned furniture by the pool. A few suggestions that would secure a repeat stay for us would be to have the option for a heated pool, a couple of memory foam mattress toppers available for guests that don't prefer firm mattresses, and upgrade to 2 ply toilet paper!

Adorable bungalow! House was exactly as posted but cuter in person. Our family of 11 fit well and were happy to have 4 full showers. Pool not large but great for kids. Kitchen had most things needed. Easy check in!

It has everything you need for a family get away. The pool is conveniently located on the main living floor. It’s perfect for the family and the lights make night swims so fun!! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or hang out with take out. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone’s needs. The walk to the beach is simple and quick, which is what this mom of four loves. The local grocery store is a fast 1 mile away. We love this house so much. We will be back again and again.

We knew going in that it was an older family oriented home and weren’t disappointed by the decor or age of the property. The location can’t be beat and the pool (brand new) is a wonderful addition. There were only a few issues we encountered. The first being the carpet, the carpet is in need of replacement it is pretty beaten up and uncomfortable to walk on. The second issue was lots of ants in the kitchen. This is a tough one because we also saw tons of ants in the dunes so I’m sure it’s a constant battle to keep them out of the house. The only other thing we wished we had were more games or books geared towards the 8 and under crowd.

However, it could use some TLC particularly on the from porch and areas under the house. Very dirty on the front porch and the screen door did not shut properly. The fence in front of the house looks pretty shabby. We reported two issues after we left, so not sure if they were addressed later- toilet that wasn't set properly & a fan that was about to fall down. In the kitchen there was no carafe for the coffee pot and the silverware is very sparse.(Bring your own) However two refrigerators available and lots of pots and pans, glassware and plates. There is a new house being built next door, so it could get noisy.(Fall / Winter 2022)Nice new pool but not heated. Great views and walkover. An enclosed gazebo at the walkover is very nice.

We asked very specifically if there was any construction around the property prior to booking. We were told there was construction but it was only inside. On the second day we were woken at 7 AM to hammering outside. This was followed by loud saws and hammering on the property on the other side of the house. The washing machine was filthy and had mold. They were visible termites in the windowsills and the cable did not work on several of the televisions. On check-in we were given the wrong welcome packet and therefore could not get into the house. There was not nearly enough toilet paper inside the house and this was missing from several bathrooms. If I were staying in a hotel that was greater than $2000 a night, I would expect much more than this. We will not be using island realty again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at 2912 Palm Blvd Oct.6-11. The location was great. Ocean front with a small pool, and near restaurants and grocery. This is an old house. And it smells like one too. The kitchen refrigerator is missing two of three shelves. Luckily there is a second refrigerator in the giant laundry room. The floor plan is great for 3 or 4 families. One bedroom sleeps 4. A set of bunks and two twins. Another room has a bunk set and a king. Two other rooms have a king or queen. Those are all upstairs. The main master is just two steps up from the living room. I could only figure out how to stream on master room TV, couldn't find any local live stations. The large TV in the living room was manageable. The master bedroom sliding door opens to the small pool deck that has loungers on it. But you can't use them unless you are total covered with mosquito repellant. They are killers and swarm like crazy at the first sight of skin! The draperies in the master bedroom are broken. You can't draw them with the cord. All the clips that the drapery hooks go in are broken. The maintenance man took a photo the first day we were there. But the office could only come up with the response that "I believe we knew that and are trying to get permission from the owner to replace them". The maintenance man was also shown the air register on the floor in front of the commode in the master bathroom. It has screws sticking up from the register. You could cut your foot or toe if not careful or if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. That never got fixed. It's dangerous to back out of this driveway. So one day we parked parallel to the road in the front yard. Got a $100 fine for not parking in the direction of traffic flow even if I was 6 feet in on the grass. Utensils and kitchen stuff were more than plentiful. House has an extensive book library. Plenty of beach chairs for your use. It's a great cash savings if you don't mind stuff like I've mentioned.

I was told I would be receiving a text or e-mail with a code to receive my information on the property I was staying; I received nothing. Thanks to Michele and the real estate people upstairs I was able to get my information. I arrived at 5:05. I have rented multiple times with Island Reality and this was not a happy empierce to start a Vacation.

Screened in porch was really nice.The only thing we were disappointed in was the gazebo. Was looking forward to sitting in there. It was over taken with weeds. It’s been a while since anyone cleaned it up. And the grass needed cutting also. Those were our only issues with this property.
