Lovely, cozy home, really enjoyed our stay. The backyard worked well for our two dogs, very secure and didn’t have to worry about them getting out.

We had a grand time at this cute house. It is convenient to the beach and restaurants. We slept great and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved having two full bathrooms too. Would stay here again!

Tracy & Carl were fantastic hosts! Their sweet pink cottage is a great home away from home. Beautifully decorated And 5mins to the beach. You can park in the back and secure the gate! 2great yards for our dogs. They have thought of everything.

Cozy, clean & accomodating

This property was perfect for our annual trip to Lone Star Rally - location was perfect. There were so many thoughtful touches and we surely appreciated them. The beds were perfect, TV’s in every room and all the coffee you could possible need. Lots of bells and whistles with this property - highly recommend and would stay again.

Family getaway

The property was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the interior was cozy and warm. Our hosts ledt us chocolates and had fresh flowers waiting for us. They kept us informed and were wonderful to communicate with. would definitely recommend staying to anyone.

The hosts, Carl and Tracy, were fantastic and gave a personalized experience! They were very responsive and made us feel very welcome. It is a small shotgun house as advertised but had everything you could want. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed sheets were very soft as well as the towels. The outdoor spaces were very nice and the hosts were accomodating to our very large dog who loved the back yard. Being able to park in the back and close the gate behind your vehicle was a nice added benefit. Unless you just have to be on the beach, this is a great place to spend the night and refresh when you spend the rest of the day enjoying the island and all it has to offer, It's far enough off the seawall to not hear the noise but yet your minutes away from the main part of the Seawall, restaraunts, Pleasure Pier, the Strand, and shopping.We had a great overall experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Family Fun

Our stay at the Dupre House was wonderful and relaxing. The house is absolutely adorable and has such great updates in it. It was very cozy and they take great care of their guests. Would definitely come back and stay again. You don't want to miss out on this gem. It's close to everything and greatly maintained!

This is the cutest, cozy, little beach house. It’s simply a stunner, with beautiful paintings & pops of color. The house was practical and fully furnished - pans, utensils, cups, coffee maker & even a nutribullet. The rooms were cozy & bathrooms had everything. Beautiful patio deck for hanging out and just the perfect living drink with green velvet futons. Loved the gated backyard to safely park. The hosts were sweet and had special treats around the house.

This place was great! Very quiet neighborhood. Hosts were VERY welcoming. They left us brownies and a greeting card to welcome us. Street parking is avaliable but they tell You to park in the backyard for extra reassurance that Your car is safe. As for communication with the Hosts I wish I could go higher than 5 stars. They were always available to answer any pre-trip questions i had. Looking forward to staying there again.

Cute spot with convenient location to the beach and restaurants along the seawall. We made use of the charcoal grill and the back alley parking access which made unloading really easy. This was a really comfortable spot for 3 adults and a dog that want their own private space.
