Welcome to "Uptown Victorian"
Walk to town in 10 minutes. Go to the library, get coffee, see a movie and have lunch by the creek. Now go visit the Mission and do some shopping before Farmer's Market starts. You've got time for a concert in the plaza before you walk home (and it's still daylight!)
In the morning, jump on the freeway in a matter of seconds and visit Madonna Inn, Avila Valley Barn, and Pismo Beach. Don't skip Morro Bay to the North. It's a 20 minute ride up Old Hiway 1. Keep going to visit Cambria or Hearst Castle.

Nancy was very communicative and kind. The house was really cute and very clean. Amenities were over the top including snacks, drinks and breakfast food. We will definitely stay again. Location was ideal, close to everything. Street parking was easy.

Absolutely awsome!

Absolutely awsome! From making the reservation to check out, everything was as promised plus a few surprises. Nancy was very responsive and creative. She answered all questions and requests for suggestions (Giuseppes great location for wonderful dinner and Scout Coffee great coffee and location). She was creative with breakfast treats, decor and furnishing, and outdoor seating. As we said, absolutely awesome!

Wonderful location, place and host

The fact that Nancy enjoys hosting is evident in all the details and beautiful accommodations. The location was great and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. From fresh baked cookies to a lovely well-appointed space this rental was definitely one I hope to return to again.

I can’t say enough about this property! This house was so cozy, clean and in a perfect location. The host was responsive, kind and set the home up so perfectly. She thought of everything you could possibly need! The home was clean and absolutely adorable! I look forward to staying here again.

Fabulous Get-a-Way

This property is incredible. Nancy is an amazing hostess, and her attention to detail made the stay feel like we were long awaited guests rather than simply renters. The home is clean, and well-appointed; the patio area is very peaceful, and relaxing. Fresh baked cookies were waiting for us upon our arrival along with an amazing assortment of coffee, juice, pastries, etc. I hope to return very soon.

Great stay with everything you need and more!

This will probably go down as one of our most memorable/best stays to date. The home was perfectly SLO and had a bunch of tiny details/amenities that made it above and beyond the expected. From the welcome baked goods to the relaxing garden patio, this place was amazing. If anything the place is on the smaller side but still fit 2 couples sufficiently. The location is also right off the freeway entrance so it can get noisy. Still, we will definitely be coming back for this stay on our next trip because the service and care were duly noted. Thank you Nancy for being a great host!

Great spot for Graduation!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's house! The location is amazing. So close to Cal Poly campus and downtown. Nancy's hospitality was unbelievable. She left us a fairly stocked refrigerator with all the essentials (milk, cream, yogurt, juice, fruit, etc,) and there were muffins, bagels and freshly baked cookies on the counter upon our arrival. The house was immaculate, perfectly decorated and stocked. My daughter slept in the second bedroom and our family of four enjoyed watching TV in the living room and the landscaped entryway made a perfect back drop for grad pics! Thanks Nancy!!

All the amenities!

Planning our trip to SLO to move our son into his CP apt., we wanted accommodations that would allow us to sit outside with a cup of coffee in the morning, and a glass of wine in the evening! This bungalow met all of our needs. We were within walking distance to the downtown area and an easy drive to the CP campus. The instructions to check into the rental were straightforward. The house was clean and simple—did not feel over-decorated; comfortable furniture, beds with soft sheets, and clean towels. However it was the smaller details: cold bottled water, milk(s), and fruit in the refrigerator, as well fresh-baked cookies and a cupboard full of breakfast goodies, that really topped off our welcome. And after a long flight and drive into SLO, we didn’t realize how much we would appreciate these small treats. We look forward to returning on our next trip to SLO.

Cottage stay in San Lois Obispo

Firstly Nancy was very responsive and helped us sort out some issues we were having with payment. She was kind, understanding and very helpful. Nancy’s cottage was lovely, and comfortable. She had a very well provisioned kitchen for our 8 day stay. She made us feel welcome, by leaving us fresh cookies she baked herself as well as some delicious local bakery pastries. The cottage had a lovely garden with seating and a small cafe table for eating, and enjoying the outdoors. Her house was spotless clean. The neighbourhood was great, with access to the downtown and many hiking and cycling areas. We encountered some internet issues and Nancy was quick to respond and get it sorted out for us. I would highly recommend Nancy’s house in San Lois Obispo for a short or long term stay. Thank you Nancy for being such a great host. Diane and Keith

This was the perfect place for our family this weekend. Easily walkable both to downtown/restaurants and Cal Poly campus. The breakfast pastries were fantastic and we appreciated the beverages including almond milk. Communication was quick and clear. I highly recommend this place for your next trip to SLO!

Great SLO home

This is our 3rd time staying at this property because we absolutely love it! The host is wonderful and very responsive. This house is adorable , clean and fully stocked with great items. This is our go to house when we travel to SLO.

Home away from home

We loved staying in this house - it felt like a home! Fun and cozy decor, all the kitchen appliances and gadgets you might need, and a very nice welcome gift of pastries and everything needed for breakfast. Location was also fantastic.

Clean and cozy - perfect getaway

This was my second time staying here and I'll definitely be back! The host is easy to communicate with, everything is clearly labeled so it's easy to find everything in the kitchen, and they have cute and cozy touches to make your stay extra comfortable. The location is also great - it's an easy walk downtown.
