Villa with heated private pool **** and closed parking - La Flotte - Ile de Ré

In the heart of the village of La Flotte, near the market, the port and the beach, relax in this beautiful villa totally redecorated in 2018, thought for your comfort.

Bright and comfortable, the villa has full feet of quality equipment and a neat decoration.

A large main room hosts the living room with its 108 cm flat screen TV; a dining room that can accommodate 8 people (oak table and KARTELL chairs designed by designer Philippe Stark) and a kitchen open to the living room. The back kitchen houses washing machines and dryers.

With 3 bedrooms, the house accommodates up to 6 people and a baby comfortably.
- Bedroom 1 overlooking the pool: 1 bed 160 cm - flat screen TV - separate dressing room - private bathroom (toilet, sink, walk-in shower)
- Bedroom 2 overlooking the central patio: 2 beds of 90 cm - cupboards.
- Bedroom 3 overlooking the courtyard: 1 bed 160 cm - cupboards.

A reading room, independent of the living room, can read a book in peace or to install a cot if necessary.

A separate bathroom, located between the two bedrooms (2 and 3), has a bath, a walk-in shower and a sink.

An independent WC is also at the entrance of the house.

You have a courtyard for parking two cars and your bikes under a large awning. You will also find an enamelled cast iron gas griddle (ENO brand).

Secured by a guardrail, the upper terrace will allow you to have your meals facing the pool with your children. A gate gives access to the pool terrace.

The large south facing terrace, with its heated swimming pool (8x4m) and secured by a submerged shutter will offer you relaxation and well being.

The outdoor furniture, from the manufacturer FERMOB, has been selected for its aesthetics and comfort.

The central patio will also welcome you time for a coffee and allows the villa to enjoy a multi exposure and so be very bright.

House Rules: Non-smoking, pets not allowed.
Deposit: A deposit of 2000 € is requested on your arrival.
Cleaning: A fixed price of 150 € (mandatory) includes the cleaning of the house (except kitchen), beds made upon arrival and towels.
Tourist taxes: The tourist tax of 1.65 € per night and per person will be requested upon your arrival. This one is paid back to the community of commune of the island of Ré.
Bicycle rental: We offer you Dutch type adult bikes, very light for your stay; equipped with baskets and anti-theft devices. The rental rate is 40 € for one week or 70 € for two weeks.

Comfortable, high quality property

Very modern, well equipped and comfortable property. Great swimming pool with electric cover and robot cleaner (so very clean). Only 10 minute walk to town centre and harbour with its great restaurants, shops, bike hire and market etc. Large supermarket just a few minutes drive away. Very good communication with the owner and prompt check-in/check-out. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous La Flotte Find!

This beautiful cottage is in the perfect location. Minutes from the centre of La Flotte, its shops, restaurants and the fantastic market. We ate our weight in bread and pastries. The house is well kitted out for self catering and we found ourselves staying in and using the facilities, it was a home away from home. The house is modern but has a charm to it. Very clean and everything easy to use. The hosts are only a message away if you need anything. The outside area was the selling point for us. Our children used the pool every day, a real luxury to have our own pool and we really made the most of it. Benjamin helped organise our bikes too, which were seamless to collect and great for exploring the island. We are already trying to work out when we can visit again, we had the most wonderful time, just need to brush up on our French a bit more!

Lovely property and excellent location

The villa is very generous in size and the pool was invaluable during our hot week in Ile de Re! A really well thought out property and very considerately furnished. Benjamin was very responsive both before and during our stay, with excellent English. We hired our bikes through him and they were waiting for us on our arrival and he takes care of the return too. The cycle paths are well marked and you can get a map of the cycle paths from the Tourist Office. We cycled to St Martin, Bois, which has amazing beaches and St Marie. All easily accessible given that we had a 4 and 10 year old with us. Having visited these other places we felt La Flotte was the best location to stay. There are many excellent restaurants (we returned to Le Nautic and Sushi Folie), some lovely shops and a marvellous market each day. The port has a great atmosphere during the evening and entertainment on the central stage, every evening we went down there. We’d stayed in La Rochelle for a couple of days beforehand and took a taxi to the Island which was less than €50. The airport is only 20 minutes from la Flotte. A brilliant week and highly recommended location.

wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem tollen FeHa. Alles ist wie im Internet beschrieben, nur in Wirklichkeit noch schöner. Das Inventar ist sehr hochwertig und endlich mal eine Unterkunft, die genug!! Geschirr und Gläser in den Schränken hat. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wonderful holiday location

This house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and tidy with a great pool that we used every day. The owner, Benjamin, greeted us when we arrived and could not have been nicer. The house is in a very quiet location but is only a few minutes' walk or bike ride to the harbour and its bustling shops and restaurants. The beach at La Flotte is also very close by but if you want to explore the island further the bikes that Benjamin arranged for us are the best way to do it. We had a really lovely time and are keen to stay again.

Merveilleuse location détente

La maison est très bien agencée. Lumineuse, décorée avec goût et simplicité, dotée d'une belle piscine et très bien placée, elle incite à la détente. Très beau marché quotidien, commerces, petit port de la Flotte sont à portée de pas. Une première réussie

Première visite sur l'île de Ré, premier passage chez Benjamin et premières réussies. L'accueil au sein de la résidence fut chaleureux et bien organisé. Le séjour s'est bien déroulé, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et de la quasi entièreté de l'île (seule la météo nous ayant fait défaut). Une chose est sûre, si nous devions retourner sur l'île de Ré, nous n'hésiterions pas à retourner dans cette villa.

Een aangenaam verblijf gehad in september 2020

Mooie villa met ruime & moderne kamers en voorzien van alle comfort. Alles is zoals beschreven op deze website. Functionele keuken waar veel plaats is om te koken. De living heeft, net zoals de slaapkamer, zicht op het verwarmd zwembad wat bijzonder aangenaam is. De villa is rustig gelegen maar toch vlakbij het centrum. Benjamin is een goede gastheer met wie we al voor de aankomst contact hadden ivm praktische zaken. De fietsen werden ook door hem geregeld zodat we ze bij onze aankomst direct konden gebruiken. Zeker een aanrader!

A recipe for a great holiday

We loved La Flotte with its excellent food market and pretty harbour. The villa was the best we’ve ever stayed in; stylish, well equipped and comfortable with lovely pool and decked garden. Quiet location but easily walkable to town and cyclable to the rest of the island. Benjamin was helpful with restaurant recommendations and arrived immediately when we had a problem with the dishwasher. We would not hesitate to go again.

Four weeks - and we wish it was longer!

My family and I stayed for four weeks June-July 2019. Benjamin made the planning, arrival and entire stay a real pleasure and so simple. Although the location in La Flotte is fantastic - just a short walk or cycle into town - the villa and pool are wonderful, encouraging you to stay and relax as much as explore the town and the wider island. I could list all the good points, but the simple fact is that I wouldn’t change anything!

Very Clean and convenient

We stayed here for 2 weeks early august with my wife,2 teenagers and the in- laws and everybody loved it. The salt water pool was most welcome to cool off in the heat of the day.The location is perfect for strolling into La Flotte to experience the many shops, restaurants and bars. We hired bikes and took advantage of the many cycle paths on the island. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday had by all and would recommend.

Perfect!

Four of us have just returned from a week in this villa. Benjamin, the owner, speaks very good English and greeted us on our arrival. The villa is very comfortable and attractive, and within 15 minutes the pretty port of La Flotte, with its many restaurants and shops, is easily walkable or you can hire bicycles from Benjamin, and cycle. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs. The beds are big and comfortable, and the bathrooms modern. The swimming pool is heated to 28 degrees and is just perfect. No worries if you have small children as the access from the dining Terrace, is completely safe. The bed linen and towels are all of good quality. We would certainly stay here again if we Holiday in this area.
