Welcome to Casa Verde, where Costa Rica doesn't just surround you, it becomes part of your everyday. This one-of-a-kind home is tucked inside Tierra Pacífica, a beautiful residential community that gives you the privacy of a jungle retreat with the perks of a resort.
Whether you're here to unwind, move your body, connect with nature, or simply swing in a hammock and let the monkeys do the entertaining — Casa Verde delivers the full Costa Rican experience.
We give our guests full privacy but are nearby and available if needed. You can contact us anytime by phone or message during your stay, and we’ll respond quickly. Otherwise, enjoy the home and the peaceful surroundings.
Playa Junquillal is one of Guanacaste's best-kept secrets — a long, unhurried stretch of coastline that hasn't been swallowed up by tourism. No big hotel chains, no party crowds, just a wide-open beach with beautiful waves, stunning sunsets, and that rare feeling of actually having space to breathe. It holds a Blue Flag certification for its cleanliness and environmental care, and it's an important nesting site for Leatherback and Olive Ridley sea turtles, with local conservation efforts running during nesting season. It's perfect for a long barefoot walk or an afternoon watching the Pacific do its thing. For surfers, the location is a dream — sitting right in the middle of some of the best breaks in Guanacaste, with Playa Negra, Marbella, and Tamarindo all just a short drive away. Just north of the main beach you'll find Playa Blanca, a beautiful hidden cove, and there are hiking trails nearby through the Guanacaste dry forest for those who want to keep exploring. It's the kind of place guests tend to discover and immediately want to come back to.
As guests of Casa Verde, you also have full access to Tierra Pacífica's shared amenities: a pool, jacuzzi, gym, yoga room, and tennis court. And when you're ready to explore, the community's trail network winds through the surrounding nature — ideal for an early morning walk with the birds or a sunset hike through the jungle. And when the beach calls, it's an easy 15–20 minute walk through the trail and out to the road, or a quick 5–10 minute drive. The best of both worlds: jungle in the morning, beach in the afternoon.
Step into the screened-in living room and you're instantly in the thick of it. The breeze moves through, the forest sounds fill the air, and if you settle into one of the hammocks long enough, a troop of howler monkeys will almost certainly pass through. Just off the main living room is a second lounge with a smart TV, also with a hammock — perfect when the group wants to split up and do their own thing. Upstairs, an open-air terrace sits level with the canopy, one of those rare spots that feels equally magical at sunrise or after dark.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor, a private king suite with its own full bathroom. Also on the ground floor, accessible from the living area, is one of the house's most-loved features: a gorgeous outdoor hot-water shower — a little slice of jungle luxury that guests never want to leave. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom and a half-bath, giving everyone enough space and privacy to feel at home.
The kitchen is large, well-equipped, and built for real cooking — not just reheating snacks. The whole home reflects the owner's artistic eye: colorful, full of personality, with thoughtful touches in every corner that remind you this is someone's labor of love, not a generic rental.
