3-room suite in Modern Farmhouse style, private bath, kitchenette, great views. You'll have the whole apartment/suite to yourself with a private entrance. Free WiFi, snacks and drinks. *see note* We are mainly designed to host up to 3 guests luxuriously, but have an additional sleeping space to host four. King bed in large main bedroom with a sitting area, Roku/TV/DVD player. Large 2nd room with kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, micro, and Keurig), dining area and a small, twin size futon. A 3rd room (small bedroom) with a twin-sized bed. Privacy for each room. Key code entry. Access to relaxing back deck overlooking pond. Very close to I-20; 20 mins to downtown Shreveport attractions, 15 mins to State Fairgrounds and Independence Stadium. 30 mins to Marshall, TX and 45 mins to Jefferson, TX. Feels like a quiet, relaxing stay in the country, but still conveniently close to what you came to see!

We are a completely smoke-free property...not only in our guest suite, but anywhere on our property. We do not allow parties of any kind and don't accept reservations with children. There are outside security cameras on the property, viewing the parking area and the exterior of the guest suite. We are intentionally designed as a quiet retreat for adults and work hard to create a relaxing get-a-way spot that you will want to return to again and again!

Peaceful Retreat

This place was everything we imagined it to be. Quiet, yet beautiful to walk around the pond or sit on the back porch. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Nick and Arlana were excellent hosts, providing all the necessities and attentive to our needs; while being unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend this place!
Short trail around to back side of the pond.
They turned on the ceiling fans and sat on their back deck.
The apartment is over the carport, 2 bedrooms, and good sized dining area with microwave.

Little peace of paradise..

One of the best experiences, I’ve had in a long time. The bed and sheets heaven. The house came equipped with everything you needed for a quick getaway and a few extra! The pier over looking the bayou was the icing on the cake. Hoping to book again soon.

What a nice place to get away right out of the city but feels like you’re out in the country! Owner is super nice and accommodating. Such a nice vibe as soon as you pull in the long driveway surrounded by trees on either side. Very nice view of the small lake from the room. Loved the cinnamon rolls, coffee and definitely had the popcorn for a late night snack. Highly recommend this place if you’re coming from out of town or if you live in the Shreveport/Bossier area to just get away. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a surprise for my wife. She thought we were just staying in a hotel. She could not stop commenting on how wonderful everything was. This won’t be our last visit. Thank you for thinking of everything. The robes are a nice touch. Easy to find, just off the highway. You won’t be disappointed, and a bargain at that!

Everything we had hoped for

This place is beautiful! It was clean and tasteful, quiet and secure. We felt very safe and got the peace and quiet we were looking for as we explored the area.Check-in and arrival were very easy. Nick and Arlana were very open and communicative before our arrival and throughout our stay. They were also very gracious and understanding when our party made a mistake with our reservation, which was very much appreciated.The beds and living areas were comfortable and clean, with high-quality bedding.The dining area has plenty of room. The kitchenette only has a sink, small fridge and microwave, which wasn't a problem for us since there are so many excellent food options everywhere, so we didn't need to use it.The property is gorgeous. The large pond is full of turtles (snappers and sliders), and there are birds everywhere! It's surrounded by woods and at least a couple miles from any major road, so there was no road noise or light pollution - just the sounds of nature and abundant wildlife, and lots and lots of stars.This was an excellent place to use as a quiet base for our business in and around Shreveport and elsewhere.

We enjoyed our short stay here. It is a beautiful property, and the inside was very clean and inviting. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the scenery, but we did enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep after a late concert.
