The Village of Olloix has about 300 inhabitants and is only 20 minutes from the A75 motorway and 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, capital of Auvergne. Well sheltered between "Puy d'Olloix" (1002m), Puy d'Ozenne (914m) and Puy de Marquerole (840 m), it enjoys an ideal climate, cool in summer and mild in winter . It is a central point to access the biggest tourist sites in the region, all located less than an hour's drive from the village.
On foot, several circuits are possible starting from the house, the valley of the Monne, the village of Saint Saturnin, the Abbey of Randol ...
You can also climb to the top of Puy d'Olloix in less than 30 minutes and enjoy a 360 ° panorama with breathtaking views of Puy de Sancy, the highest peak in the region and the highest volcano in France ( 1885m).

The property
Over two centuries ago, the house was a barn for storing crops. In the 70s and 80s, it became an inn, "La Grange aux Ayres" which offered meals and traditional dance evenings.

Since 2007 it is a property dedicated to tourism that can accommodate groups or families up to 23 people.
