Although I expected the house to be closer to Lake Merritt, it was convenient access to freeway and downtown Oakland. The house was equipped with everything I needed and the host was responsive to any questions I had.

This was a good stay. The hosts were kinda and responsive. The house is nice but had bad sound insulation. We could hear the dog upstairs, conversations our hosts were having, and the neighbors had a loud get together that kept us up till late at night on Friday. The house also needs some small repairs like a new kitchen faucet and working cold water in one of the bathroom sinks.It was a good location for us and we appreciated that we had access to parking. The neighborhood is safe but there is a lot of trash etc. on the street in the area.

Great location, great space!

We enjoyed 5 days in this spacious apartment within walking distance of Lake Merritt. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is available. The kitchen had everything we needed and the courtyard offered lovely space to relax in the afternoon sun. Karina was very responsive and check-in and out instructions were clear and concise. What a GEM! The apartment is so cute and cozy with all the amenities you need! The bed was SO comfortable!The locations is killer, super close to the lake and lots of places to explore! Wonderful, friendly and communicative hosts. We have family very close by and would absolutely stay here again!

Geuinely a great stay

Extremely clean with all provided house supplies easy to locate. Having access to the driveway was really great for avoiding street parking. Also it's a great place to stay if you have little ones they provide small basic furnitures like high chairs and stools.

The home was nicely arranged wit whatever we needed for our stay. Nice touch was creamer and coffee for first day or two of coffee which many hosts don't have available

Very nice and it was easy to walk to Lake Merritt. I did not rent a car and found it relatively easy to get public transit, including the train to SF. Host very nice and responsive.

Centrally located charmer

We loved the decor/vibe of this place. Spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen was sooo well-equipped—I brought spices and a nutribullet, none of which I needed! The downstairs patio was so lovely and peaceful, I wish we’d had time to use it more. So nice to let our dog out down the stairs first thing in the Morning. Only 10 Minutes’ drive away from Our daughter, it was fairly convenient. Didn’t adore the neighborhood, but it was mostly quiet. Jerl, one of the hosts, was friendly, helpful, and responsive to the few requests we had.2 notes: their dog, Sushi, whined st night when no one was there. And bed is very soft, a bit too much for us other reviewers have loved it).
