Fully-stocked kitchenette (sink, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, rice-cooker, electric kettle, coffee maker, blender). Aluminum foil, plastic wrap, plates, silverware, serving dishes, basic cooking needs (olive oil, salt pepper etc.), coffee and tea are all supplied – everything you need to cook simple meals in-house if you prefer.

Dining room table and tablecloths/mats.

Living room area with large couch and an assortment of books and indoor games. Huge selection of videos for DVD.

Closets with ample hanging and storage space. Skylights in the main studio and office.

You will probably need a car as we live in the hills of Oakland. Ample parking on the street. There are also plenty of Uber and Lyft drivers in the area.

Major freeways are close. Drive times to major destinations:
- 4 minutes to Rt. 13
- 8 minutes to Rockridge BART
- 10 minutes to downtown Oakland
- 12 minutes to Cal Berkeley
- 20 minutes to San Francisco

We live on the property. Access to the studio/office is via a separate entrance so you have complete privacy.

We are a busy working couple. We will try to greet you if we can but we never disturb you once you are inside, and never enter the studio while you are here (unless requested). Feel free to knock on our back (kitchen) door if you need anything, or hear us and would like to say hello!

Through the gate you will be greeted by a beautiful garden. The studio is at the back of the garden.

As you can see in the photos, there are a few steps up to the studio that are a bit uneven -- "landscaped" style stairs. For our elderly guests, be advised that there is no railing. The pathway is lit at night.

The studio/office entrance is through the office door, on the right of the back building. Enter the studio from the office.

The lock box will provide you a key to the front door. Please remember to leave the key when you depart at the end of your stay.
