Second time to visit & loved it just as much as the first time! Beautiful location, easy access to the beach, & fit our two families (4 adults, 5 kids) perfectly! Just steps away to watch the sun rise in the morning and crab hunt at night.

Perfect Family Vacation

Christmas Getaway

I've been to this property twice now and it's one of my favorites. Location is perfect with amazing beach access. Always clean and love the updates since I was last there. Will stay here as often as I can when I'm down visiting.

Weekend Getaway

A group of friends stayed in Gulf Shores for our annual weekend getaway and Pelican Place East was a delight. The accommodations were wonderful and the view was to die for. The host, Herb, was easy to communicate with and ensured our stay was flawless. Would love to come back in the future and would recommend this getaway spot to anyone looking to travel to Gulf Shores!

Beautiful house with a great view. We were a small group of ladies looking for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed our stay and all the views. House was very well maintained, spacious and had all the essentials needed. We definitely plan to visit again.

Family Beach Vacation

The house has everything you need and great location. Beautiful morning and sunset views. Comfortable beds and electric recliners. Everything in the description is accurate. I would love to rent this property again.

Amazing Location!!

This property was amazing! The views are great and there isn’t a direct public access to the beach super close, so the beach wasn’t over crowded. The house also came with lots of beach stuff like boogie boards, umbrellas and a tent and chairs. Will probs book again!

Heaven on earth

We take a beach trip every year with our adult children and our grandchildren. This year what a blessing it was to stay at the pelican. The house is gorgeous and the view was amazing . We loved this house and it the best one yet ! Thank you so much for sharing the pelican with us.

We LOVED Gulf Shores and this location! Perfect views!! Great family house!!

I can't wait to return! If possible, I'd rent this property again for the location. We had lots of ages and everyone echoed the same sentiment about returning. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone had enough space to spread out as desired. I've never been able to sleep on vacation as well as I did here! The steps from the driveway could be a challenge for some-I would have liked some direct light at night to illuminate that top step. But I'm sure anybody would thoroughly enjoy their stay here as we did!

Better than imagined!

The views are remarkable and we spent our days watching the sunrise and sunset. We saw dolphins and sting rays jumping around in the ocean and loved being able to walk out to the beach at any moment. House is perfect for our needs and there is plenty of space. A few things I wish I really knew - you can literally go fishing right off the beach in front of the house. That’s a big deal for my brothers. We can’t wait to return.!

Oceanfront Paradise

We spent 5 days here with 4 adults and 4 kids/teens. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were stunned with the house, location, beach, view, etc. The beds were so comfortable - made us want to upgrade our mattresses at home! The space is clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes. If you are staying longer than a few days, bring your own disposables- laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. We used Walmart+ to have groceries delivered. The location is perfect. You walk right out onto the beach, which is gorgeous. We brought a canopy, but used the chairs, boogie boards, sand toys provided. We saw lots of ocean life - dolphins, jelly fish, ghost crab, blue crab, sting rays, hermit crab, etc. Wish we would have brought a throw net! Herb was a great host, easy to communicate with. We can’t say enough about the views, house, and location. One of the best vacations we have had. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful property and so nicely stocked. The extra refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of space on the beach and the covered deck was perfect for our 83 year old and 4 month old . We are already looking at trying to stay at this property next year
