The cabin was just perfect for our family And super clean. All the extra things to do around the property, basketball courts, playground equipment, fishing pond, outdoor fire place, fire pits with all the wood precut and stacked by each cabin, etc. was awesome . Our host Connie was amazing. She was super responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit. We would highly recommend this cabin!

Family stay
The cabin was great the kayaks and paddle boat need replaced weren’t inviting even though kids tried to use them the pond very murky and the playground area overgrown maybe having few fishing poles on property would made it little more inviting

The perfect getaway
This place is definitely the best place to go to just get away from it all. We brought our 5 kids here to get them away from the electronics and teach them that there is more to life than video games and tablets. I expected them to complain the whole time but they actually didn't want to leave. This place was so cozy and intimate. The owners are great people who were very concerned with us being completely comfortable. I love the set up and the atmosphere. I'm honestly worried about staying anywhere else now because I know it's not gonna hold a candle to this experience. Thank you for giving us this well needed break from the busy world we live in.

Thank you for coming! We look forward to you coming back and seeing us grow and progress!!
This is such a cute and cozy place! We enjoyed our stay very much. Connie was very helpful. Will definitely be coming back when we come to another Arkansas game. ❤️
Definitely recommend. Easily accessible from I-49 just south of Fayetteville. Reasonably priced and way better than staying at a motel. Was down visiting our son who’s a college student. Plan to bring more family and friends next time. Didn’t have enough time to really explore the area. Wineries to the south were awesome and not too far of a drive. My only issue was the A/C unit not super cold… I’m a middle aged gal with hot flashes 🤣 so I prefer it colder.
Enjoyed my time at Grandpas cabin. All in all it was great. I slept in the loft one night to test it for my kids and it got pretty hot up there. When I moved downstairs it was cool. My only complaint was that I think the AC does not cool the loft very well. A box fan might help to move the air up there. I was worried about the road but it was no big deal. My Subaru handled it fine. If you have a car with decent clearance I don’t think you need a four wheel drive. I would not take an accord or anything unless you want undercarriage damage. I will definitely be back with my fam to fish at the pond and hike around. I did not have time sadly.

Perfect for a weekend get-away! We loved being so close to the state park but still feeling secluded. Cabin has everything you need and the bed was super comfortable. We will definitely be booking here again!
We stayed here for the Arkansas Razorback Texas Longhorn Football Game in Fayetteville. It was a perfect location, and way better than staying in a hotel. Its beautiful and has everything you need. I highly recommend staying here!
This was such an amazing place to stay! We brought everything we may have needed with us there, but if we would have accidentally left something at home the cabin was so well stocked that we would have been just fine! It was very clean, very peaceful and exactly what we were looking for!!
This little cabin is absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend a truck or a vehicle that is higher off the ground than a car due to the road coming in but it’s not too bad. The cabin is packed with all of the essentials even down to spices! We absolutely adored this property!
Super cute cabin. Stocked well. We enjoyed our short stay. A few other cabins on site which would make it nice if other family members or friends were joining you. Must have AWD or 4WD vehicle....gravel road is pretty rough in a couple of places but it would not be a deal breaker in considering another stay. 10 mins from Devil’s Den State Park and 25 mins from Fayetteville.
This cabin is so much better than we anticipated! It looks very tiny in the pictures but has plenty of room for a family and everything is functional, pretty and well maintained. Connie is a great host, available and always making sure that our needs are covered.
We loved this property. The only drawback was the road is quite rocky getting to the property is quite bumpy. We loved the on site fishing and hiking. Will definitely be back.
We loved the cabin! It had everything we needed. New and clean, quiet, and cozy. It is a little bit bumpy getting down to it on the gravel road and we would suggest finding it for the first time in daylight, but once you’re there it’s worth it. Would definitely stay again!
The cabin was very clean, has everything you need, and is in a secluded location. If you want to be close to Devil's Den State Park, with modern amenities, this is the place to stay!!!!

Why they chose this property
Family First Cabins is devoted to providing a clean, friendly and safe environment. We treat all who come as family and we hope you will do the same. What a blessing to spend time with family and build relationships that can last forever. Our little woodland village is a retreat and a great escape from the stress and chaos of life. We are creating a place for families to make memories and bond through valuable family time. Unplug and take a walk, sit by the pond, and tell stories by the campfire. Family unity is so valuable and it comes from spending time together. We are located a short distance from Devils Den State Park, hiking trails, ATV trails, Lake Fort Smith, and much more. Swimming pools are located at Devils Den and Lake Fort Smith.
What makes this property unique
Down in our little "holler" it is peaceful, quiet, and you feel a thousand miles away from the "rat race" yet you have running water, AC/Heat and a nice bed. You are a short drive from a grocery store and 25 minutes from Fayetteville for fine dining. A valuable bonus is that you are just a 5-10 minute from Devil's Den State Park! You can hike on our 60 acres and scale the huge rocks down our ravine. Fish, row a kayak on our little pond or just sit on the dock and take in the view. A classic old time playground is great for the kids young and old. Try out the swings, merry-go-round, teeter-totters, and “whirly-gig”. We also have several areas that are turfed which provide a rock and pothole free running space as well as the option to sit on the "grass" without getting ticks and chiggers! Our cabins are located on 60+ acres that you can hike and explore. You can stay here and vacation or venture out and explore many things close by such as: Devil's Den trails, Lake Fort Smith, West Fork and more. Please visit our website for more local information.
