Located in the heart of Andalusia, 1 hour from Malaga airport, 25 km south of Marbella and 10 'from the prestigious port of Sotogrande, in a secure residential area just outside the village of Manilva, the villa is facing the sea and has easy access, in 10 'on foot, to the sandy beach of Aldea.
The villa can accommodate up to 8 people and consists of four bedrooms, including a separate studio with kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Completely renovated in 2018 the villa, of Andalusian style, has bright, modern and comfortable interiors.
It enjoys a beautiful south / east position and offers an exceptional view of the sea and the Costa del Sol to Marbella. Its total area is 230 m2 on a plot of 1400 m2 private and fenced. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees.
The villa is ideal for a pleasant stay with family or friends around the pool and garden. The neighborhood (Hacienda Guadalupe) has a security gate with a private entrance, surveillance cameras and the house is equipped with a connected alarm system.
The villa is located 2 km from the port of La Duquesa and 14 km from Sotogrande and gives access to many restaurants, bars and chiringuitos (beach bars).
On the coast of Manilva you can enjoy water sports, golf, hiking, horse riding and cycling. The villa is near the Duquesa golf course (2km) and the Finca Cortesin golf course (3km) and the Valderrama golf course (12km) ranked the best golf in continental Europe since 1988. Within 30 km, you will have access to 16 golf courses.
Located about 25 minutes from the prestigious seaside resort of Marbella, you can enjoy the historic center, night clubs, shops and bars of Puerto Banús, and the marina or line up beautiful yachts.
Manilva is also a central point to visit Andalusia (the Alcazar in Seville, the mosque - cathedral of Cordoba, the palace of the Alhambra of Granada or Ronda and the many white villages). Gibraltar is about 30 'by car and you
 will reach in 1 hour Morocco by ferry.

It was a superb holiday. At arrival the house was cool & clean and Vale made us feel at home. Close to the beach, incredible view on the beach and close to everything you can look for. A real recommandation

We had a great stay!

The villa is in a urbanisation which is very well maintained, it is a reasonably old villa but it has been renovated to a high standard, the gardens were beautiful. I loved the palm trees. The location was great to visit Estepona and Sotogrande. We were a family of 5 with 3 young children, and the villa had plenty of space to spread out, the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room are superb, the views are amazing, with some amazing sunrises. The bedrooms are functional and nicely decorated. All the rooms have air con. The outside space was great, it links with the villa really well and feels very private. The outside furniture made it a great place to relax. The pool is large and we were lucky to have hot weather, so this enabled us to use the pool every day, perfect for my children. The views were amazing from the outside area, it had a great feel. We visited Sotogrande marina, Puerto de la Duquesa. We also played golf at Fina Cortesin which was fantastic. Highly recommend it. There are some really good restaurants nearby as well. The local garage has some supplies. However we did have a few issues. The pool had a green stain around the top edge of the pool and this was a bit off putting, I can only assume this was because a lack of maintenance during lock down. the pool water itself was clean and we had no issues swimming. The villa would benefit from a more secure front gate, it is quite old and not secure. The neighbourhood felt safe, so it wasn't to much of an issue. The rear glass door that leads to the pool only has a small metal clip that locks the door, this really needs looking at, it did not feel secure. The front door is like Fort Knox so I couldn't understand why the rear door has one small metal clip to secure it. We didn't use the downstairs apartment, but we did have a look, the room smelt quite damp and i'm not sure I would be happy staying in there, which is a shame because all the other rooms are great. Overall we had a really nice relaxing week, the few issues we did encounter did not ruin our stay, some great memories had. Thank You Richard

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit als Familie in dieser wunderschönen Villa an der Costa del. Das Haus hat alles, was man zum Leben im Alltag braucht. Der Pool ist super und der Gartenbereich ist wunderschön gestaltet. Es gab auch einen guten Gasgrill, dies war wichtig für uns, da wir sehr gerne grillen. Wir haben uns als Familie alle sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Kommunikation zwischen Hausbesitzer und der Betreuung vor Ort klappte sehr gut. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Prachtige royale woning met schitterend uitzicht

Het is een ruime woning en heeft diverse mooie zitjes in en om het huis. Ook het zwembad is zeer fraai en groot. De keuken is groot, modern en biedt alle middelen om te kunnen koken. Slaapkamers zijn mooi, enkele wat klein. Maar bedden zijn goed. Op loopafstand van ca 10 minuten van het strand. Huisbaas is zeer vriendelijk, makkelijk te bereiken en antwoord snel. Al met al heel erg genoten!

A fantastic family holiday

Wow, the photos do not do this property justice. It’s wonderful & the new pool and pool deck make it a even better place to enjoy the sun all day. Ample shade is also provided with two huge parasols. We had a couple of issues that don’t warrant a mention other than to say they where rectified within the hour each time. It’s a great location to explore if you have a car. Only 30 minutes from Gibraltar and plenty of excellent local restaurants within a 10/15 minute drive.

Estancia muy agradable

Fue una semana en el mes de Agosto en la que estuvimos una familia de 7 personas y dos niños pequeños. Realmente me gusta dar las opiniones de los alojamientos pasado 1 mes desde la estancia ya que me permite tener una visión mucho mejor. Me quedo de esta semana de descanso con una sensación muy agradable en lo que refiere al alojamiento, era una propiedad muy grande y muy espaciosa en la que todos conviviamos y compartiamos momentos pero sin renunciar a la intimidad y al espacio para poder hacer nuestras actividades ya que las grandes dimensiones del inmueble lo permitía (no voy a describir los distintos espacios del inmueble ya que está perfectamente hecho y ratificado en las opiniones anteriores). Si tuviera que poner algún pequeño problema, es que el borde de la piscina para los niños pequeños se resbalaba (y eso es un peligro) y que la zona de los sillones exteriores junto a la piscina les hacía falta un poco de limpieza extra Por el resto todo perfecto y provisto de todo tipo de utensilios necesarios. Se nota que renuevan y revisan todo lo que se utiliza. Especial mención a Vale ya que lo necesitamos una noche para un pequeño problema y sin dudarlo y con una sonrisa en la boca estuvo alli a las 2:30 AM de la madrugada, así que atención 100 % satisfactoria.

A very relaxing two weeks

We stayed in Villa Limonar between 8th and 22nd August, 2020. Booking was very easy and Alain was very responsive and attentive, making contact after our arrival to ensure all was in order. The house is very comfortable and exactly as described. The location is within a private urbanizacion; it's very quiet and overlooks the sea with, far-reaching views. The internal furniture and fittings are of good quality and the house is spotlessly clean. The air conditioning works very well and there is a security alarm. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of sun loungers available around the pool. Lastly, the internet speed is superb, using a fibre optic connection, though the Wifi itself though can be a bit spotty in bedrooms, the further away you are from the router. It didn't cause the kids a problem though as they appreciated watching Netflix without the buffering you can get when using slower connections. We were met by Vale who was very friendly and helpful and for whom nothing was too much trouble. On one day, the power tripped and we was there within 15 minutes to fix it. Our teenage daughter loved staying in the self-contained apartment as it gave her a degree of independence but without being too far away. Nearby, there is a small shop in the petrol station (within easy walking distance) which sells basic provisions and freshly baked bread. The much larger Eroski supermarket is a short drive away (it's not really walkable). There is also an excellent Argentinian steak restaurant, El Estribo, at the main entrance to the urbanizacion which is definitely worth a visit. Access to the beach is about a 10 minute walk, via one of the foot bridges and there are numerous chiringuitos (beach restaurants) along the beach. All in all, I would definitely recommend Villa Limonar to any family looking for a sunny and relaxing holiday.

Highly recommended Fabulous villa with the most fantastic view.

Beautifully decorated & furnished contemporary style. It has private garden & pool with all day sun. Fully equipped to ensure a lovely holiday. BBQ outdoor dining furniture, sun beds. This house has the benefits of a private Villa but also has the benefits of being within an urbanisation. The area was great to explore with lots of fabulous beaches. While there we had trips to Gibraltar, to Cádiz and Córdoba. Alain was very helpful with any questions we asked. Vale (property manager) was on hand to help while we were there. A family of 4 had a very special holiday.

A lovely villa in a fantastic position

First and foremost I was hugely impressed by the level of response to any queries or issues we had during our stay, most efficient. Overall the villa is in a quiet spot, with lovely sea views. The villa has recently been refurbished and all done very tastefully with excellent air conditioning throughout. However it wasn’t apparent that the 4th bedroom wasn’t part of the main house, it is accessed from the garden, so not ideal if you are x2 families as we were, really this bedroom needs to be intergrated into the villa. There is no air conditioning in the 4th bedroom, there was only a unit which was noisy and didn’t work very well. The other issue was the pool. This is very old and clearly needs to be redone, the paint was peeling, the pool was cloudy and did turn green, may have been an issue with the pump or pool so did affect our holiday towards the end, but Alain has taken this into consideration and is reimbursing us for the remainder of the holiday due to the lack of use of pool. Alain promises me that the pool will be redone over the winter ready for 2019. All in all the villa is in an excellent position for chic Sotogrande, or the more relaxed informal lifestyle in La Duquesa. There are lots of beach bars nearby, a couple of supermarkets very close where you can get all you need and more, and only 30 minutes drive from Gibraltar airport. If the pool can be redone and is crystal clear, this would be a wonderful 3 bedroom villa, the 4th bedroom isn’t really comfortable in the heat unless they can sort proper air conditioning and intergrate the bedroom into the villa.
