Step out of the cold, slide open the door to the covered patio, and lower yourself into a 7-person hot tub while the Gore Range glows pink across the valley. This is the first thing you'll do at Geneva Peak and the thing you'll talk about long after you've driven home.
Built new in 2019, this is contemporary mountain luxury you can actually walk into: heated driveway, garage and decks underfoot, steam already rising, the free Town of Vail bus 100 yards down the street and Lionshead and Vail lifts just minutes away.
Geneva Peak is a 3,500-square-foot, five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home designed for a group that wants room to spread out and reasons to come back together. The open main level is the heart of it: 20-foot vaulted, tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, exposed steel beams, and a floor-to-ceiling steel-and-stone gas fireplace framed by walls of glass that pull the mountains inside. A large sectional anchors the living room; the dining table seats ten with a breakfast bar for four more.
The kitchen is built for people who actually cook with a 36" Wolf gas range, a Wolf 42" refrigerator, a wine fridge, a Scotsman ice maker, and every cooking basic you'd reach for. Step out the off-kitchen deck to a Weber gas grill for dinner with a view.
Sleep is spread thoughtfully across three floors. The top-floor king master suite has a steam shower, a deep soaking tub, a double vanity, and a large walk-in closet. Two more king junior suites share the floor several steps down from the master each with its own en-suite bath. Downstairs, a fourth king junior suite and a four-sleeper bunk room (two twins, two fulls) open right onto the hot-tub patio — ideal for kids and the grandparents alike — with a private lower-level lounge and a second TV. Two commercial Speed Queen laundry centers (one upstairs, one down) keep the ski. hiking or biking gear moving.
This home is made for multi-generational families and groups of up to 12 traveling together. The bunk room and lower-level kids' lounge give the younger crowd their own world, while the upper-level suites give the adults quiet. Central air conditioning (genuinely uncommon in Vail) keeps summer reunions comfortable, and the layout works just as well for a milestone-birthday weekend as it does for a week of skiing.
You can leave the cars parked - 2 in the garage and 2 in the heated driveway - as the free Town of Vail bus stops 100 yards away and runs to Vail Village and Lionshead from 6am to 2am. It's a quarter-mile to the Cascade lift, three-quarters of a mile to Lionshead, and a mile to Vail Village. Step out the other direction and you're 100 yards from the Gore Creek trail and fishing, 200 yards from Donovan Park (playground, basketball, open fields), and on a quiet West Vail cul-de-sac in the Matterhorn neighborhood. It's the rare Vail address where world-class skiing and a walkable, kid-friendly summer both work.
Beyond the hot tub and the fire pit: heated driveway, entry stairs, and decks (no shoveling, no ice); central A/C throughout; a 70-inch living-room TV plus flat screens in every bedroom with streaming on every set; a dedicated workspace with a printer and the fastest WiFi in the Vail Valley; a two-car heated garage plus driveway parking for four cars total; Arrigoni European hardwood floors throughout; and a Sonos sound system. Self check-in by keypad means you arrive on your schedule.
We want your stay to be easy, so a few honest notes: the home sits near a road, so the deck can catch some traffic noise — the great room and lower lounge are the quiet gathering spots many guests prefer. The hot tub has quiet hours after 10pm per the Town of Vail noise ordinance. We're a non-smoking home with no parties or events and no pets, and we cap the group at 12. During ski season we rent Saturday to Saturday so weekends stay whole. Parking is in the garage and driveway only — the town tickets on-street parking.
Whether you're chasing fresh powder or a summer reunion on the trail, Geneva Peak gives your group a true Vail basecamp: room for everyone, a hot tub under the stars, and the bus to the mountain a short walk away. We're local Superhosts of 13 years and we'll help you book the trip only a local can. Mark it a favorite, pick your dates, and come see why guests rate this home a perfect 5.0.
