Wood-grain tile floors, crown moldings, high-end appliances and fixtures are just a few of the features that will make 'Island Lullaby' part of your family's go to vacation spot year after year! Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room. An oak staircase leads to the second floor with three bedrooms. Adjacent to one another are the two smaller bedrooms that features a full bunk bed and the other a set of twin bunks beds. These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a king-size bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities. All bedrooms hold personal televisions, no fighting over T.V. time on this vacation!

Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses!
Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.

Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. 

Community Pool:

The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

5 STAR SPRING BREAK!
This home was perfect for our 5 day spring break trip! It is very beautiful and truly feels like a beach home! We had everything we needed during our stay including linens, blankets, towels, kitchen utensils/equipment, and 5 bikes! The rooms are very spacious and the furniture was quite nice throughout the home. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee on the back patio which is a big plus for a mom with 4 teen girls :). The location is great and the neighborhood itself is very welcoming. Overall, we had zero issues with access codes or internet service. And YES the W/D worked fantastic and we were able to keep our laundry done! This is our second time renting within this community and it never disappoints. Our first one was not available and we are so glad we chose this home this year!

Not clean, no balcony access, poor plumbing, no internet connection
The house was not clean; the floors were visibly dirty, and the toilet in the primary bedroom was visibly dirty on the seat. The stovetop in the kitchen had not been cleaned and had food on it. There were ants on the countertop and I had to discard food that I had brought. There was half eaten containers of food in the refrigerator. The upstairs hallway bathroom had no water pressure in the shower. There was no balcony access. The TV did not work and had to be reprogrammed in order to obtain channels. The internet and cellular connection was basically nonexistent.

Great location; incorrect listing.
Overall a good stay. Property is cute, definitely some wear on the furniture, but that comes with a rental. Pretty clean. There were plenty of towels for our large group, but it was short on other supplies like trash bags and dishwasher tablets, so bring your own if you're staying more than a day or two. It was nice to have The Big Chill right across the street - places to eat, shopping and live music. Pool was fairly dirty. Lots of trash and food left behind by people on the pool deck. There were employees working, but none seemed to be picking up any of the trash. The biggest disappointment was the incorrect information in the listing. Listing stated there is a shuttle to the beach and there is NOT. We coordinated everything around that and having to pivot last minute was disappointing. No one even told me - I just happened to ask about it.

The property was not very clean or well maintained. Coffee maker did not work and the dryer burned holes in clothing even on the lowest setting. Linens were clean and plentiful but kitchen was not well stocked with basics (such as working coffee maker and cutting knives). The furniture was very dirty and blinds were challenging to open and close.
