One can say they are more likely to find a protected sea turtle nest than a high-rise building, which is what draws people to the island vs. Florida. Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your input and will continue working to ensure every stay meets expectations. The early spring pool closure was due to a maintenance issue identified just before arrival. We shared this update in advance and would have offered a full refund had it impacted your plans. In over 20 years of ownership at Palmetto Dunes, this is the first time we’ve experienced a delayed pool opening. We let you know as soon as we received the update before you were to checked in, and would have offered you a full refund if we had thought it impacted your plans. We were not made aware of any issue with the coffee maker during your stay, but we would have replaced it immediately if needed. We encourage guests to reach out during their visit so we can resolve concerns in real time. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope you otherwise enjoyed the space and location of our 1,300-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath villa in Palmetto Dunes.

Hilton Head Island, SC is regularly voted one of the best family vacation destinations in the world, being justifiably famous for its incredible beaches and golf courses. The tennis, and now pickleball programs in Palmetto Dunes are famous too. Directed by legendary player and instructor, Sarah Ansboury, the Nike Pickleball Camps at Palmetto Dunes are serious fun for all ages! We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
