The Royal Dalhousie apartments with free WI-FI connection have huge common areas such as a living room with HD smart TV and HD receiver. A large dining room to enjoy your meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with appliances (fridge, stove and 30-inch dishwasher), small electrical appliances (double coffee maker, toaster, food processor and slow cooker), cookware and cooking utensils. kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. Sumptuous individual and comfortable bedrooms with, for the most part, a complete adjoining bathroom with shower and bath. Towels, hair dryer, personal hygiene products, ironing board and iron, washer and dryer, everything is there! A park, a high chair and a folding bed are available on request.

We very much enjoyed our time in Quebec. The website listing described our house as being on the St. Lawrence River. That was true however, there was a large lot in front of our windows, so we were actually one block off the riverbank. That wasn't clear until we arrived.

Unfortunately, our stay in Quebec City involved a serious safety concern and a lack of communication from the host.During our stay, someone unlocked the door and entered the property without any notice, message, or knock on the door, while we were inside the home. Five women were staying at the property, traveling on our own, and the unexpected entry was extremely unsettling and felt like a major breach of their privacy and safety.We immediately reached out to the host through VRBO, asking for clarification about who entered the property and why there had been no prior communication, but we received no response. The lack of communication made the situation even more difficult because we had no way to resolve what had happened or feel reassured that it wouldn’t happen again.Due to the safety concern and the absence of any response from the host, VRBO ultimately stepped in and relocated us to another property.Quebec City is a beautiful place to visit, but unfortunately, this experience was stressful and disappointing. Communication and guest safety should always be a priority, and that was not our experience with this host.

So spacious and clean with stunning views.

This was a perfect location for my family of 4 and mother in law and Aunt. The two smaller rooms are connected with twin room with not as much privacy but it was a great layout for us. The living room is just massive and location was nestled close to the prettiest spots in Old Quebec. We hope to visit and stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay! My husband said that this was his favorite place we have ever stayed. The views were amazing, and the apartment was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed. The location was ideal - close to Place Royale and the river, but not noisy. We also really enjoyed the splash pad across the street. The hosts were very helpful and gracious. Awesome stay.

Perfect in every way

This property is perfectly located, spotlessly clean, had a great view of the river and the hosts could not have been better. So easy to walk to all the popular spots in the city and so easy to drive to I’lle d’Orleans and the waterfall at Chute Montmorency. We were so happy the weather warmed up enough for us to enjoy the rooftop terrace! We highly recommend this beautiful spot!

We have been living in Old Quebec City for many years, and love sharing our beautiful home with visitors from all around the world. Why they chose this property

The Royal Dalhousie is located in the heart of Place Royale. It is from this location that Samuel de Champlain constructed the first habitation; a farm and a shed. The location was named after Louis XIV and is one of the last remaining relics of 17th & 18th century buildings in North America.

All eight condos in the Royal Dalhousie offer breathtaking views of a park overlooking the St. Lawrence River, seen through 8-foot high windows. They also all have high ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams, which accentuate the rich history of these newly renovated condos.
