Chic mountain getaway

Located in a beautiful wooded valley surrounded by peaks and ridges it is an excellent base for a walking holiday. It is remote and the roads take some getting used to. There is a basic village stores in the next village but be prepared to travel for up to an hour to a supermarket. Don’t miss the Corsican railway, a wonderful way to see the island. The gite has steep stairs that would make it unsuitable for children or people with mobility issues. It is beautifully restored and the altitude kept it cool while the coast was enduring a heatwave.

Nous avons passĂ©s un excellent sĂ©jour en altitude Ă  Pioggiola. Depuis le logement, vous pourrez accĂ©der Ă  pied ou en voiture Ă  diffĂ©rents parcours de randonnĂ©es plus ou moins technique. Jean, le propriĂ©taire, est d'une extrĂȘme bienveillance et sera vous conseiller pour parfaire votre sĂ©jour. Nous reviendrons sĂ»rement dans cette belle rĂ©gion de la haute Corse que nous n'avons pas fini de visiter !

Un havre de paix dans un petit hameau corse.

Une bien belle aventure dans ce petit village de Pioggola en plein coeur de la Balagne. Decouvrir cette nature sauvage grùce aux nombreuses randonnées possibles autour du gite et profiter du festival international des rencontres théatrales pendant ce debut de mois d'aout ont été des points culminants de notre séjour. De plus nous avons pu profiter des bons conseils de notre logeur torujours trÚs disponible et à l'écoute de nos questions. Le gite perdu dans un petit hameau directement relié au village de Pioggola est tout confort et trÚs tranquille, de quoi se ressourcer et couper un peu avec l'agitations des grands centres touristiques.

Belle maison rénovée avec goût

Le village typique de Pioggiola permet d'accĂ©der en 1 heure aux gorges de l'Asco, Ă  la forĂȘt de Tartagine ou aux plages de Calvi ou L'Ile Rousse. La maison offre tout le confort nĂ©cessaire et le propriĂ©taire est charmant. Il y a 3 ou 4 maisons dans une petite ruelle encaissĂ©e, dont 2 dont les terrasses sont contigĂŒes. Les voisins Ă©taient fort sympathiques mais si vous cherchez l'isolement total, ce n'est pas l'idĂ©al. L'escalier menant Ă  l'Ă©tage est raide, je dĂ©conseille aux personnes ayant des difficultĂ©s de mobilitĂ©.

Une maison qui ne laisse pas indifférent

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© merveilleusement accueillis dans une authentique maison Corse rĂ©novĂ©e et modernisĂ©e avec beaucoup de goĂ»t. Il rĂšgne dans les piĂšces un sentiment de calme et de sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© que nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ©. LogĂ© Ă  la croisĂ©e de nombreux chemins de montagne, Pioggiola est parfaitement situĂ© pour faire des ballades magnifiques et sportives, et cerise sur le gĂąteau, le col de Battaglia vous offre une vue Ă  couper le souffle (si la montĂ©e ne s’en est pas chargĂ©e) sur la mer, l’üle rousse et au loin le dĂ©sert des Agriates et le cap corse. Merci Jean de nous avoir fait dĂ©couvrir cet endroit magique.

Dem Himmel ein StĂŒck nĂ€her

UrsprĂŒnglichkeit und Ruhe haben wir gewollt und an diesem Ort und in diesem alten korsischen Haus gefunden. Dieses ist mit viel Liebe auf die heutigen BedĂŒrfnisse umgestaltet worden und hat alles, was einen angenehmen Aufenthalt verspricht. Die Anfahrten zum Haus gehen durch spektakulĂ€re Landschaften. Wanderungen bieten tolle Aussichten auf die WestkĂŒste. Die Kommunikation mit Jean verlief mit Hilfe von Google Übersetzer problemlos. Danke

Fabelhaft

Die BegrĂŒĂŸung von Jean war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Er hat uns das Haus geduldig gezeigt und alles genau erklĂ€rt. Das Haus ist wunderschön neu renoviert und bei der Übergabe sehr sauber. Die Lage ist traumhaft mitten in den Bergen, sehr idyllisch und perfekt um zu entspannen. Mit dem Auto ist die Fahrt zur Unterkunft sehr spannend, da sehr kurvige kleine Straßen. Jedoch war der Weg immer ein Abenteuer und keineswegs langwierig. WĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes stand und Jean zu jeder Zeit fĂŒr Fragen zur VerfĂŒgung. Auch tolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge konnte er uns geben. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr herzlich und bemĂŒht sich jemandem zu verstĂ€ndigen der kein Französisch spricht. Wir werden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall ganz bald wieder buchen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison tout récemment rénovée et bien aménagée . Pioggiola est idéalement placé pour ceux qui aiment la montagne. Beaucoup de sentiers partent du village.

Splendide Maison de CaractĂšre

Tres agreable surprise que d avoir passé une dizaine de jours dans ce petit écrin au coeur de ce village perché a 1000 mÚtres d altitude! Cette Maison a été rénovée du sol au plafond et meublée avec un grand soin. Chapeau aux charmants propriétaires qui ont gentiment pris le temps de nous aiguiller sur cette superbe et si riche micro region, Je recommande vivement cette adresse :-)
