We reserved 4 of the condo units in the facility so each family had our own space while still sharing meals at each other's units. The rooftop patios with grills, tables, and gas fire tables were the perfect places to gather, cook, eat, and watch the spectacular sunsets. I'd LOVE to some back and stay in these ideal condos. Be aware: There are A LOT of stairs, so if you have elderly guests or people with limited mobility, this isn't the place for your family.

Beautiful location and Wonderful Stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Monarch Villa. The house was appropriately stocked for all our needs and the fire pit and bbq on the rooftop was a big plus for this rental. The location is ideal for walking, shopping and eating. It was also very nice to have 2 parking spaces in the garage as parking can be difficult in that area. I would definitely recommend the Monarch Villa.

The property sleeps 6 adults comfortably - the other 2 in the "sleeps 8" offer actually have to sleep on futon type mattresses on the floor that you have to find in the closets. If the weather is hot, there is no AC and only the family room has a ceiling fan. Opening windows helps but not when hot and no wind. The bathroom doors have locking issues. One does not have a lock on the door at all. Otherwise, it is located a few blocks from the sand and downtown shops and restaurants and has a great view from the rooftop patio. There are a lot of stairs so be prepared to climb up and down to get to the four floors. The host contact was helpful and responded quickly. I would rent this property again - and let guests know ahead of time that they may be sleeping on the floor.

Pismo trip

Loved the property and location. Lots of stairs but doable for a short stay. Oven wasn’t working but the response and fix was very quick. Communication was excellent. We would stay here again.

This is my third time in this house, perfect for my grandkids, adults. Love the rooftop view, wished the fireplace worked. Regardless I’m going try to book it for my next trip

Great Stay

Staying at the Monarch Villa was very relaxing. The condo was comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully included a lot of extras for guests. The hosts made it easy and were very clear with their expectations and information regarding check in/out and our stay. They also responded quickly when asked a question. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to which door to use, but, once you get that, it’s simple. The condo is just down the street from the beach and in an area highly suitable for walking. I would definitely stay at the Monarch Villa again.

Great stay for family of four plus infant!

We came down for my husband’s reunion weekend at Cal Poly with my parents and our 10-week-old infant. My parents stayed in the casita and we set up the smaller bedroom as our nursery, which gave everyone plenty of privacy and room. It was a very comfortable stay with plenty of amenities and a great location close to the beach. The check-in process was very easy, communication was great throughout and the house was very clean. The only few downsides were that there was some outside noise being on a busier street than we're used to in our quiet suburban neighborhood, and my husband and I found the mattresses in the main house to be firmer than we'd like (they were still high quality, it was completely a matter of preference!). Other than that it was a great stay!

The convenience of parking our car in the garage and not driving for 4 days was the best. Be sure you understand the listing description because this is a 2 bedroom condo with a separate casita downstairs attached to the garage. Your party that needs the 3rd bedroom will have to exit the casita and go up the OUTSIDE stairs that could result in encountering the guests in the neighboring condo. Know that you are removed from your party staying upstairs. The condo is equipped with just about anything and everything you could need, very clean and comfortable.

There were ants in the condo. They were in the kitchen, the upstairs queen bedroom, upstairs hall bathroom, and all over the casita downstairs. We normally stay in a beachfront hotel in Pismo, but decided to try this so that we could cook some meals rather than eating out for every meal of our trip. We were unable to do that because of the ants all over the kitchen. There were ants in the beds! I notified the company and their response was "Thanks for letting us know". That was it. We did not get to enjoy our vacation rental. It was not relaxing. We were constantly wiping up ants. Very disappointed in the customer service of the rental agency.

Good but not quite what i thought

Ok the good things about this property. Very nice property, well cleaned. Excellent sheets. We overall had a nice time at this property. However it wasn't 5 stars. One of the things we didn't like was the 3rd bedroom is actually in a separate downstairs area & not connected to the main condo. No one wanted to stay there by themselves so we wound up cramming in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. I felt this was not upfront on the listing. There were literally only a salt and pepper shaker in terms of cooking supplies. Most properties are way better stocked than this. Be prepared to bring ALL cooking ingredients with you because you won't have anything avail. Overall though it's a good property centrally located in downtown Pismo. Close to restaurants and the beach and nicely maintained.

Hi thank you for reviewing your recent stay. We do our best to describe the casita setup. Most people enjoy having a second master suite area. For the safety of our guests (considering COVID and food cross contamination) we do not leave spices, seasonings or cooking oils in the units.

Good stay..with a hiccup

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place and location were great. Plenty spacious as advertised. When we arrived at 4p check in the cleaning crew was still there so we had to check in late. On 6/18 we experienced a severe back up in the plumbing late morning. The casita bathroom and bathtub overflowed from the waste upstairs. After notifying Seven Sisters of the issue they acknowledged it and said they would have maintenance take a look. We left the condo for the day. When we returned in the late afternoon we were told that they took a look and it was taken care of. However, it was not. The casita was still covered in waste water and the plumbing continued to back up. A professional plumber was called and he spent hours finally unclogging the main drain. We couldn't shower or use the bathroom for the majority of the evening on 6/18. I understand things happen, but if it wasn't for the persistence of the plumber that was called we would not be able to use the bathroom or shower the rest of the trip.

The roof deck has a gas grill and ocean views. There are a lot of doors to contend with, but we figured it out. Only a few blocks to the beach and lots of walkable restaurants. It would be nice to have another love seat in the living room. The tv tech is great. We’d definitely stay here again.

We've stayed in three different units, and they're all amazing. This one I'd give the slight edge for the firepit and rooftop seating. Really well stocked garage for stuff for the beach, so no need to bring toys for the kids. Kitchen and bedrooms all wonderful. Always nice to have the casita downstairs to for additional guests. Check-in and out also super easy and straightforward. The Seven Sisters team is always very responsive. Just two blocks from the best coffee and donuts in Pismo!

Friends beach trip

We had 3 couples at this property & it was spacious except the beds could be a little bigger. We loved the rooftop & kitchen was modern & good. We enjoy cooking & wanted more glassware & cutting boards. Overall a great trip for us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just a short walk to downtown, restaurants and the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for 7 people-(2 adults, 5 teens). Alot of stairs but we knew this from the description (1st floor-garage & casita studio with 2 private doors, kitchenette, 2nd floor-kitchen/ living room, 3rd floor- 2 bedrooms & laundry, 4th floor-rooftop). Loved the rooftop access and amenities. We had a full sized SUV (Cadi ESV) and it fit in the garage but tight. Parking for the other vehicles was easy on the street. A bathroom on every floor for every room (1/2 bath near kitchen)! Good for all ages! We'll be back Pismo! Maids were great upon entry! Felt very clean and orderly with covid chemicals available! ENJOY! P.S. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, towels but NO BEACH TOWELS so prepare.
