265' of beautiful, quiet waterfront! Also available on this property are 2 other cottages should you need to accommodate a large group of people. See listing #1690644 & # 1690637. All together the 3 cottages sleep 1 to 19 guests comfortably in beds.
This cottage, (#1), sleeps 8 guests with 1.5 bathrooms. It has 1 master bedroom with a king-size bed and the 2nd bedroom with 1 queen-size bed and 1 set of bunk beds. It also has a sleeper sofa. Each cottage is fully furnished, has a full-size kitchen and includes small appliances, kitchenware, and a charcoal grill with utensils. This cottage has a large deck and its own private dock, as well as a screened porch for those rainy days. Enjoy the lake and all it has to offer, as well as a beautiful mountain view. Our docks will accommodate large boats. There are nearby marinas to launch your boats and we have a space to park your boat trailers. There is a small beach area in front of the lake for relaxing, as well as a fire pit for relaxing evenings.
Pillows & quilts are provided but you must supply your own linens and towels.

Nostalgic getaway!

This nostalgic Camp on Alton Bay was a lovely and restful place to escape to with our family! We lounged on the deck, floated and splashed in the Lake and laughed over s’mores around the campfire. For the first time our children, (grandchildren) learned to fish on the dock. We sincerely enjoyed our quality family time on the Lake and thankful for our memories and the new stories to share!

Summer Vacation - with friends, kids, dogs

This was one of the most pleasant and relaxing vacations we have had in some time! The cabin was exactly as advertised - and frankly was bigger in person than I was expecting. It could not have better water/swimming access and though a bit of a drive to some of the other “downtown” areas, it was close enough to Alton for what we needed and only about 20-30 min from Laconia, Wolfboro, Meredith, etc. The property owners were fantastic from start to finish: Lucky handled the booking & communication through check-in and Matt was on-site for anything we needed. He was fantastic! Especially with the kids and dogs :) making everyone feel extremely comfortable - much appreciated! Boat rental was very easy from multiple marinas on the lake - neighbors were super nice and even helped us dock when needed (which was most of the time…). I can’t say enough good things about this rental. It is hard to find somewhere on the water, dog friendly, affordable, and felt “like home” - and this really hit the mark on all of the above. Thanks Matt & Lucky!

Great location

We stayed at Bankers Bay in mid July 22 with a group of 6 total. 2 adults over 50 and 4 late teens / early 20 year olds. Lucky was fabulous to work with - actually the most responsive owner I have ever dealt with for a rental. She even helped me find the house when my phone GPS went haywire. The location is really great- parking can be tight with larger vehicles - but we made it work with our group. The house is really more of a camp - its not fancy but has all the basics. It worked well for our group. 6 people in the house was tight - but the spaceous deck was where we spent most of our time. Its a great space! Some of the spaces in the house (master bedroom, front porch) almost have the feel of an over water bungalow. This is truly a property to rent if you appreciate the sunrise! We also appreciated the AC during the heat wave. Thank you Lucky for a lovely week!

When you stay here, you get everything you need for a relaxing week. The location and situation with other properties is perfect. Lucky and Matt were extremely nice, accommodating and responsive.

Perfect Location!

We loved our stay here. The location could not have been any more perfect! The time away with family and friends was very much needed and we all loved this spot. We floated our days away and enjoyed fishing off the docks. The cottages were super clean and the communication with Lucky was amazing. We hope to return again!

You can look all around the lake to find your perfect cottage. This is ours.💕

The perfect getaway

I have been visiting the lake for over 20 years some friends and I recently stayed at Lucky’s cottage #1 and cottage #3 and we all couldn’t have been happier. The places were clean, functioning, and fully operational with amazing views and great access to the water. I would recommend staying here just for the pleasure of being in contact with the owners alone! Lucky was the main source of communication and was extremely helpful, understanding, and informative! I was very pleased with the services she provided and again couldn’t be any happier! If you are looking at staying at the lake, definitely recommend bringing friends and family to stay at these cottages you will not be disappointed!!

Great Location

We rented all three cottages and had a wonderful time. The location was spectacular, and quiet part of the lake for labor day weekend. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Gunstock is very close, and the only complaint would be the beds. (main Cottage) Very squeaky, and uncomfortable, but we sufferred through with the great view!

Banker's Bay is a family-owned property, featuring three lakefront cottages on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. In 2000 our father bought this property to house his very large family for summer gatherings. As our children got older and became very busy with school and extracurricular activities, it became harder and harder to make the long trips up north for those very special gatherings, and that's where you come in! We cherish our times together at the lake and thought we should share our place with you! Whether you rent one of the three cottages or all three, you and your family can't go wrong.

The property is unique in the fact that you won't find anything like it around. It has so much to offer on a quiet strip of waterfront, just minutes from the quaint little town of Alton Bay. All the cottages are waterfront and on a very quiet strip of the lake.

What makes this property unique

The property sits below the main road and is very private. Each cottage has its own dock. The two end cottages each have a large deck. The center cottage has a long screened porch. There is a firepit area as well as a beach area in front of the docks. The swimming area is very nice and there is ample parking on site.
