Manzanita Waves House is an oceanfront home that offers breathtaking views of the Pacific from the moment you walk through the front door. The ocean and mountain views are some of the best in Manzanita! Every detail of the house is thoughtfully planned to create a relaxing and inviting space for our guests. Our home is equipped with the latest Sonos system, wireless internet, 4K UHD smart tv's, Apple TVs, chef's kitchen, ocean side hot tub, quality mattresses and luxurious linens.

Our home is a convenient, easy stroll to town. We love walking to town in the morning to get a coffee at Manzanita Coffee, Off Shore Grill, or Manzanita News & Espresso. Sometimes we walk into town to catch breakfast at Yolk (not to be missed), or a cold beer at The San Dune. In the afternoon, it's nice to hang out on the terrace at The Winery at Manzanita.

Nehalem Bay State Park is less than a 5 minute drive from the house. Our favorite hikes are the 7 mile hike up Neahkanie Mountain and the short 1 mile hike to Short Sands Beach. Both of these hikes are accessible within a 5 minute drive.

Another favorite outdoor activity is to build a campfire on the beach and watch the sunset. This is so easy to do from the house because the beach is literally steps from the door.

If you're a golfer, the 9 hole Manzanita Golf Course is a 2 minute drive away.

Really, everything is so accessible from this house. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Also, please note that we do have security cameras located OUTSIDE the home. This is to protect the home as well as your security.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please wash all of your dishes and be sure to load the dishwasher and start it.
Throw a load of towels in the washing machine. Cleaners much appreciate this. Thanks!
Do not remove the garage door opener.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The location and the house were perfect for our family's stay in Manzanita. Very relaxing atmosphere and the sunsets are breathtaking from the beach back porch and the hot tub.

Awesome family trip

We stayed with or 5 grandkids and it exceeded our expectations from location to thoughtful design and cleanliness and above all thoughtful accommodations from kitchen equipment to towels and bedding. The proximity to the beach is exceptional and leads to a repeat family trip.

The home accomodated us very well. The bedrooms are on separtate levels and provide great privacy, especially for one of ous sons traveling with young children. We all slept soundly.The house offers easy access to the beach. The hot tub worked well.The kitchen is well equiped and the house tastefully decorated. All in all, as good a vacation rental as we could hope for. Missy was very responsive about the gas fireplace not working properly, and we understand that such things are bound to happen.

We had a great time at this beautiful spot. House was clean, roomy and the view was gorgeous. Close to great Hiking and Manzanita is a sweet town. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely vacation!

This house was great! We enjoyed the short walk to the beachand the short walk to town. The kids loved getting in the hot tub every night. The bedroom/ bathroom situation was the perfect set up for our family, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Oregon beach location

We've been trying out different houses every year in Manzanita and everyone in our group voted this one the best one so far. It's big enough to accommodate our growing family and the location right on the beach and close to town couldn't have been better. I was very grateful for the owner's personal communication with me ahead of our stay.

Gorgeous beachfront house

Lovely house, super comfy beds, great kitchen with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace watching the waves in the morning! It was so nice to be able to connect our phones to the speakers for music as well as to be able to use our own accounts (Netflix, Hulu, etc) on the TV. We will definitely be back!!

Spectacular View

We stayed a stormy April weekend and enjoyed looking out the living room windows at the dunes. The house is well appointed and clean, great communication with the owner. Everything in Manzanita is walking distance so while this seems on the far end of town it most definitely is not!!

Even better than anticipated

We stayed in the Waves House last week for 4 nights. We are a 3 generation family and the house couldn't be more perfect. Although the town is very quaint, we barely left the house. It is in the most perfect quiet location. The house is well equipped, and we cooked in for most meals. Missy, the owner, was extremely accommodating to some special requests, and her communication was extremely timely and efficient. The beach is magical and was so fun to explore the dunes in front of the house. We had a beach fire in the dunes every night which was a treat! The vacation couldn't have been more perfect for our family. Many thanks to MISSY!

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay in Manzanita at The Waves House. The four-bedroom and 3.5-bathroom home (with connected casita) was exactly as advertised, open and spacious living space, immaculately clean, well-equipped kitchen, and perfectly located on the beach within easy walking distance to the quaint town of restaurants, shops and cultural activities. The owner was great to work with in advance of our stay and the house has a BBQ grill, bikes, beach chairs, wagon and beach toys and various games. We enjoyed the hot tub and sunsets from the Adirondack chairs on the large deck overlooking the dunes and Pacific and even woke up to a herd of Elk walking through the sand dunes one morning.Manzanita, the town and location were perfect in offering many things to do but also being smaller than some of the busier and more congested coastal communities. There are miles of beautiful beaches and views, hiking trails and walkable grocery shopping, restaurants and shops. The Oregon Coastal Scenic Railway and Tillamook Creamery were great excursions nearby, and we enjoyed fresh crab from Kelly’s Brighton Marina just 15 minutes away.We are already planning our next stay and highly recommend The Waves House in Manzanita.

Great Family retreat

Beautiful. Everything was spacious and well stocked. Casita is nice but bed is a double bathroom small, and there are no closets. Otherwise, perfect.

Wonderful house in stellar location

We loved our stay at this beautiful property! The layout was perfect for our extended family which included a four year old (who so enjoyed the bunk bed room) and a 3 month old. The Casita was just right for the family member who doesn't have children. Very comfortable, spotless and so convenient to downtown. Great communication with the host.

We live outside Milwaukee, WI and own a vacation home at the base of Red Mountain Resort in British Columbia and now in Manzanita, Oregon. We are avid skiers who love the outdoors. Our three kids keep us plenty busy. We have three children, all in college! Our eldest is in college at Oregon State University (go Beavers!). We hope you find our home comfortable. Both Rossland, British Columbia and Manzanita, Oregon have so much to offer. They are both beautiful areas, only equalled by the amazing people!

We fell in love with the Oregon Coast several years ago. Never did we dream that we would own a home here. After several years of looking for the "right spot", we found Manzanita.
