Beautiful, cozy, clean and newly renovated lakeside cottage located on Lac Cayamant is the perfect location to just relax and unwind from the busy city-life with family and friends. This very spacious cottage could sleep 17 people and suitable for large families and/or large group of friends.

Only 1 Hr 20 Min from Downtown Ottawa, 3 Hr 45 Min from Montreal and 6 Hr 15Min from Toronto.

Cottage Interior Description/Layout. I
Main level: 3 bedrooms (king bed, queen bed, bunk bed with double and single + 1 single sleeper) and 1 Full bathroom. Newly renovated kitchen complete with granite counter tops, state of the art stove, oven, dishwasher with lots of cooking and eating utensils. Open concept living room, eating area with wood stove / fireplace. Sun room with 2 single sleepers and a large sectional couch, Screen room with 8 person dining table and 4 person seating seats (see pictures). Large 16’by 20’ rear deck facing the backyard and lake with large propane barbeque.

Lower level: Kitchen, Living room, eating area, 3 bedrooms (queen bed, 2 bunk bed with double and single), 1 Full bathroom. Also available: Two cots and mattresses to sleep additional people.

Beautiful place just to getaway to a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Lots of trails for snowmobiles, 4-Wheelers, hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and amazing ice fishing. For more information on the area please visit the following link:

Great place to share memories

Great cottage to gather as a big group. Lots of room to sleep. Great view of the lake. Peace and quiet. Highly recommen it.

Jason was an excellent communicator and answered all our questions promptly. The cottage was excellent in winter with a great location for sledding, skating, and ice fishing right on the lake! The skating rink in the town nearby was also a big hit. We were a big group of 16 people and the cabin was admittedly tight for such a large number, but we made it work, especially thanks to the ample supply of bedding and mattresses that are provided. One thing to note is that the upstairs doesn't connect to the downstairs on the inside - there is an outside staircase that you need to use. This wasn't a major issue for our group - even in winter - but something that other renters might want to consider.Overall a great experience! Thanks Jason!

We rented this place for Cdn. Thanksgiving. Upon arrival, we noticed right away that the place is not totally replicating online picture. The place is much older & in dire need of major TLC, especially the bottom location. The place has musty smell and not as clean as anticipated given the long list of “dos & don’ts” provided by the owner. We also noticed some animal droppings in several places & actually had a visit in the middle of the night while trying to sleep. Overall, the best part of the experience was the view.

Great place for family reunion

The location and property couldn't have been better. The views on the lake and surroundings were perfect. The cottage itself could use some TLC but overall very happy with the experience and we would stay there again.

Fun family vacation

Cottage had a great location on Lac Cayamant. Great property and very well stocked inside (e.gm kitchen, towels, entertainment) and outside (e.g. firewood, water toys, lawn chairs and deck). Price was better than most other places and communication with host was easy, clear and quick.

My cottage is located lakeside in the Town of Cayamant which is a very quiet and peaceful place people can come to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The cottage can easily accommodate 15-17 persons and perfect for large families or multiple families.

What makes this property unique

Very clean lake to enjoy swimming, fishing and all water activities. Very large open backyard to enjoy sports or just relax at the fire pit and view of the beautiful lake.
