Wonderful place to stay

Everything here was great. The unit was clean, well stocked and perfect for our group of 6. This particular unit had amazing beach views. Easy beach access, parking was great, close to grocery store, restaurants, Pier Park and anything else you want. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Beach vacation

Kitchen is a little dated but has everything you need. Room is overall very good. Would have been nice to have the access code to the parking area prior to arriving. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking and most likely will be back.

Lovely place, management company could be better

We love the location, my family stayed at AquaVista in the late 80s when I was a child. Unit is well maintained. Management company only gives you one small bar of soap to get you thru for the 2 bathrooms & kitchen until you get to the store. They also only give you one hand towel & one bath towel per person staying in unit. Which caused us to have to do laundry to keep towels fresh.

Good Location...Beware of Construction on the Property

The location of this property was good; however, if you plan to stay within the next few months I would recommend going somewhere else. They are doing construction around the pool area and at 7:00 am the drills, saws, and hammers start going. The master bedroom of this unit is directly above the construction and the pool. So if you like sleeping past 7 am this is not the place to stay. Also, the unit is a little dated in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Needs maintenance

Everything was unplugged when we arrived. All TVs, lamps, etc. Even the wifi router. There are missing blinds in the livingroom and master bedroom. Not all light bulbs worked. The furniture is stained and the condo had a stale odor. And they reset the lock an hour before our checkout time so we got locked out while we were trying to load the vehicles. The one positive I would say about it is that the management company was really responsive and timely when we had to get their help. That’s the only reason for giving it 2 stars.

Let down

We were booked at Aquavista but since the elevators were broken- and we weren’t warned ahead of time- we were relocated to Calypso. We had a family member that cannot negotiate stairs. The room wasn’t as nice. Too many people with no common courtesy on the beach. Parking wasn’t great and their elevators were too busy. We had to wait several minutes to board every time.

Great location but very outdated and dirty.

The condo itself is in a wonderful location in Panama City. The beach was not crowded and close to anything you want or need. When we arrived the guest bathroom sink had not been cleaned at all. It had reminents of beard hair and toothpaste in it. Everytime you open and close the shower glass doors black mold looking stuff falls out. Every glass surface in the place had at least 2 inches of dust on it. Very very outdated and broken furniture. My brother sat down on the dining room chair and one of the roller wheels just busted off. I opened the dresser drawer when we got there and the knob fell off in my hand. For the price we paid to stay the week I find this unacceptable. I would highly appreciate being refunded the cleaning deposit.

Not worth the money

Great location, other than that horrible experience The condo is not clean, nor equipped with everything like it stated.. There were only 4 wash clothes for 6 people no blankets and pillows are like paper. The beds are terrible it literally felt like you was sleeping on the box springs. We were on 4th floor and the elevators were down most of the time we were there, making a trip for my elderly mother and lung compromised sister difficult. The door handle to the patio was broken making it impossible to get open and closed. The ceiling had water running from it around the light in the kitchen. I contacted the Panhandle rental and they sent someone twice to fix the dryer, but never the other issues. All of the lights in the long hallway didn't work either. The window blinds are all broken up or missing slats making it impossible to keep the bright light out of 2 of the bedrooms. I love PCB and have never made a bad review anywhere we have stayed but definitely will not return to this location.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY

This unit was so far below what we have experienced at Aqua Vista it was shocking. 1. The unit is not clean, they are sure to charge you a cleaning fee but where it goes is a mystery. We found multiple pieces of broken glass in the kitchen and dining area. Also we found a lovely used bandaid in the master bathroom shower. Also there appears to be mold growing on the inside of the master bathroom hvac vent 2. Would you like to have a nice relaxing cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning? Well, good luck opening the balcony door. It is completely off the track and the handle has been ripped off as well, but dont worry they left two chunks of metal from the handle on the door that will hurt your hands and has been gouging the wall for awhile. It generally took two people to open or close the door. This is also a problem that I saw noted in previous reviews and the owner apparently just doesnt care to fix. 3. So you made it onto the balcony, don’t sit on any of the furniture outside. The first person to walk out on the balcony sat on one of the hightop chairs and immediately tumbled to the ground. A quick inspection showed that almost all of the outside furniture is so rusted that the moment a person sat in it it cracked and broke. So if you want to use the balcony, you have to wheel one of the dining chairs outside. 4. The kitchen/dining areas have moisture problems. This appears to be another problem that is noted in previous reviews but the owner has shown no care to take care of. There is water that drips from the ceiling light fixture and the acoustical tile around the light fixture are visibly wet. You cannot use over half the bar area because of the dripping water, this problem exists whether the balcony door is open or closed. Also, the air vent over the kitchen/dining area walk way drips water onto the tile floor, creating a wonderful tripping hazard. 5. Would you like some privacy? Well good luck with the old blinds they have here. Multiple slats of the blinds are missing in basically every room. They even are nice enough to keep all of the old broken slats in the master bedroom closet and behind the couch in the living room. The issue in the single bed guest room is absolutely unacceptable. Because of all the missing slats and the light outside, the person in that room had to take extra pillows and blankets to shove up into the window because the broken blinds didn’t block out any light from the light fixture right outside the win

Fall Break Panama Beach City Style

Location was good, but you could really see the wear and tear from the elevator to inside the condo. Condo really needs fresh paint along entry way door, hallway, drywall and paint near rear sliding doors. Sliding doors very hard to open. The unit was nice, but would been so much nicer with the simple things done. A day handy man job. We met another unit owner on the beach, and we visited another unit there while there, same price and much nicer. We would visit this other unit without a doubt.

We enjoyed our Aqua Vista stay

The location was good for us. It was far enough from pier park to not be busy, but close enough to be convenient. A major benefit was the beach was clean and NOT CROWDED. The room was a bit dated but still nice and well stocked. My only complaint would be the floors were somewhat dirty and felt a little sticky. I would address this since you pay extra for the cleaning service. Other than that, it was roomy and perfect for us. Guest services checked in with us which was appreciated. I would overall recommend this facility.

Thunder Beach

We normally get hotel rooms but this visit we decided we'd get the condo and be able to cook breakfast and enjoy time with friends in the same building for less cost The condo was very clean and inviting I loved the views the covered parking and ease of access from all the areas that we were going to.

Nice break

The condo was exactly as advertised. It smelled fresh and the kitchen/bathrooms appeared to be well cleaned. The beds were comfortable. The balcony had a beautiful view. Our only complaint was the dirty floors. They were filthy and we had to wear shoes or wash our feet constantly. If the floors were well cleaned I would stay there again.
