Another wonderful vacation with our family in this gorgeous desert home. Each time we stay here, we love it even more! Very clean, spacious, accommodating home. Pool and Jacuzzi are a bonus. Even if you are not using them, seeing the water adds to the overall scenery of the desert and mountains. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Home has many commodities such as pool toys, binoculars, telescope, board games and puzzles. Kitchen always has every appliance and utensil we need. Fabulous home, we will be back!!!

Pam and Ted's place was wonderful! The property felt so private, with the wonderful enclosed backyard and front yard. The pool was wonderful and refreshing in the heat!The kitchen was fantastic for cooking up meals and had everything that we needed and more. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and relaxing. Pam and Ted were very friendly and responsive. They sent some recommendations on places to go nearby and got back to us promptly any time I had a question. I would definitely return!

Pam and Ted make this place more beautiful and more comfortable every time I come. The pics don’t do it justice. Borrego (the desert and the town) is thriving and gorgeous in April. The pool is a little cold but my family still went in, and there is a jacuzzi where I spent most of my time ;) it’s so quiet and peaceful. The view is matchless. The clubhouse restaurant was phenomenal and beautiful, I got my Starbucks every morning at La Casa del Zorro, and a massage one of the days of our visit. I’ve been here countless times, and it’s always a breeze and a pleasure working with Pam and Ted and staying at this house.

I’m a repeat guest to this great house in a beautiful location and as always, a fabulous stay. Perfect for three good friends to chill in the desert sun for a few days. Pam and Ted are great hosts and always provide the best accommodations. And October’s Super Moon did not disappoint!

Three couples have stayed at this house on a number of occasions, and we always have a great time. The house is comfortable, spacious, and has a spectacular view. The Crooks are excellent hosts and take care of any issues immediately.

Property was amazing! The location was extremely peaceful. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, all linens...games...binoculars for star gazing...anything one might need! This was our fourth stay at this property and we return because it offers a great location for everything we enjoy doing in the area, especially the stargazing.The hosts, Ted and Pam, are attentive and responsive and the photos and description of the property accurately reflect what the place has to offer.

What a great retreat!

Ram’s Head Retreat was amazing. The pool, the view of the night sky, and the remote location were perfect. Pam and Ted are definitely great hosts…highly recommend it.

Sprague stay in Borrego

One of the best houses we have stayed in Rams Hill. Very easy access and great communication with the owner. Everything worked well, great kitchen, spa, pool. Very spacious and good for my elderly parents who visited. We would stay here again for sure.

We love living in this house. After extended annual stays here for 6 years, it feels like our home away from home. The owners, Ted and Pam, are outstanding. They are very responsive to any question or maintenance issue and go above and beyond to ensure that our stay is as trouble-free as possible. The folks who take care of the housekeeping, grounds and pool are friendly and capable. This year, the weather was very hot and we got to enjoy the pool and the air conditioning more than during prior years. The house is wonderfully comfortable, regardless of the weather. We cook all our meals there and the kitchen is well equipped. The pool and yards (front and back) are delightful. There are ceiling fans and plenty of other fans inside and out. The gas fireplace is toasty on chilly evenings. The house has excellent temperature control systems but the many large sliding doors allow lovely breeze and fresh air if you prefer not to use the heater or air conditioner. We look forward to our visit here every year.

Relaxation in the desert!

My sister and I had been wanting to check out the art sculptures in Borrego Springs for a while, and this house was the perfect place to stay for a few days. The house was exactly as described, and the yard is perfection! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and it was so nice eating dinner outside each night. We felt very safe, and it was a quick drive into town to get supplies. We would definitely stay here again!
