Beautiful home
Loved our stay for our college reunion at this beautiful home. Perfect location for two small families as a pair of bedrooms and bath are on each side of the home, giving privacy and comfort, while allowing us all to gather in the great room/kitchen and on the porch!

Family weekend hideout
It is not possible to put into words the view that arrives at sunrise - ridge tops in rolling fog, clearing to the fall colors hidden beneath. Had a wonderful (but too short) stay in this mountain retreat home. All as presented online and so much more - we will remember this weekend forever.

Wonderful house!
Absolutely beautiful house and fabulous view! It is within walking distance of pool, pickle ball and tennis courts and playground. The kids in the family loved that. The lake is a drive. The kids also loved swimming, in the lake, jumping off the dock and playing on the floats that were there. A wonderful Labor Day weekend for three generations of a family.

Perfect Weekend
I would highly recommend this home for your trip to Sewanee. The view of the bluff was amazing! The home was incredibly well stocked and comfortable and the homeowners were very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely come again!

We live in Nashville, 1.5 hours from the property. We bought the house, which was built in 2001, in 2005. We fell in love with the view and my husband attended the University of the South.

Why they chose this property

The view takes your breath away - it stunning every season and time of day - even when it rains and the clouds roll through. We are secluded on 6 wooded acres, but a 5 minute walk to the pool and tennis courts at Clifftops - which is like a natural park. Also, we are just 5 miles from the University of the South. The house is new and comfortable - it was designed for family gatherings with big porch, fireplace and open kitchen.

What makes this property unique

The house has four bedrooms, 3 which face the mountain. It has 2.5 baths - stereo system with built in speakers and two televisions. It is surrounded by the woods - has many walking trails in Clifftops, the community. Plus, there is a lake, pool, swing set, basketball and tennis in the community, which is gated.
