Our experience was significantly less than desired, mainly due to an ongoing problem with 2 (out of 3) AC units in the property that were not working for 2 out of the 3 nights that we stayed at the apartment. Management response was slow, deliberate to stall, did not understand the issue, and essentially could not resolve the problem until the final night of our stay. At 29C room temperatures for the first two nights, my family and I were basically unable to sleep. It is fair to assume that this severely compromised the quality of our trip to Barcelona.
Also to note - the apartment is advertised as "AC ready", but the fact is that AC units are only available in 1 (out of 4) bedrooms, the living area and an open area of the apartment. 3 of 4 bedrooms do not have AC.
Several other issues - a leaking coffee maker, a washing machine that does not drain properly, bathroom drains that clog, no padlock on the main door of the apartment - these also took away from our valuable time and needed effort to address.
The Expedia description for the apartment had a contact information that did not respond (even though all of our WhatsApp messages were read), there was a 3rd party hosting vendor (Sweet Inn) that also communicated with us on an adhoc basis, without us having any knowledge on how to contact them. No front desk or host person was ever made available, so we never had our travel documents (Identification) inspected - we believe this is illegal, per Spanish law. Sigh
