Waterfront Vacation- FULL house with Dock and Buoy

Welcome to the best beachfront on Shuswap Lake! Together, the 2100 square foot home (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) and 1000+square foot deck offers all the amenities that make this the perfect vacation getaway. Located directly on a Sandy beach with access to a private dock and buoy. Upon entering, the floor to ceiling glass, offers stunning, panoramic views of Shuswap Lake and golden sunsets. This open concept newly renovated main level offers a very comfortable living area equipped with a wall mounted flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace . The dining area includes a harvest table and a custom built buffet. The kitchen is fully equipped, island, custom fir counter tops, new stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, and dishwasher). BBQ on the deck for your use! The Master bedroom has a king size bed, lots of closet space and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. There is nothing more spectacular than to wake up and look out onto the lake. Down the hall is the second full bathroom which has a tub/shower combination, and two other bedrooms. One is a queen size bedroom and the other is furnished with a bunk bed (double size bottom and single upper). The new laundry room is also located in this area and has new stainless steel washer, dryer, and a handy laundry tub. On the other side of the main room it feels like your own seperate quarters. One step will take you to the second sitting area, fully furnished with a queen size pull out couch that leads to the 4th bedroom with a Queen sized bed. This area also consists of a 3rd bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A door separates this area from the main room for extra privacy. For added enjoyment walk outside to the 1000 ft. deck and dine at the large round outdoor dining table (seats 10), enjoy a beverage in the outdoor living areas or perhaps a nap on the hammock. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided for sitting at the water's edge.... A graduated slope provides for an easy walk into the lake. Enjoy the firepit on the beach, take the Canoe out for a paddle, or perhaps you prefer the paddle boards or the kayaks, play board games in front of the wood fireplace inside, coast along the hill free streets with one of our bicycles, let the children play with the sand buckets and soccer balls, play crouqet, badminton, or simply just jump off the private dock. There is so much to do you will never want to leave!

Really awesome home with everything you could need. Major plus is the fire pit right on the beach. The kayaks, canoe and SUP boards were really nice to use as well. Would love to book this home again but longer.

This is a beautiful location, with amazing views and comfortable seating areas. There are non-motorized watercraft available for use, sand toys, etc. The kitchen has plenty of serving dishes and is well appointed. Be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We had an amazing stay at this house! The house was so clean when we arrived. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the dishes/utensils that we needed. Lots of beach supplies and games which was really nice. The bikes were also wonderful! The house and property are beautiful and very well maintained. Paradise at Scotch Creek!

What a wonderful stay we had! We were two families coming together and what a perfect space it was. The pictures do not do this place justice. It was much nicer than the pictures showed with modern leather furniture in living room. The place was very clean and well stocked which was so appreciative. The property manager was very responsive to a few minor issues we came across. We will definitely be back!

Women's Getaway at the lake

Our group of 7 women had a great time at the Lake House. As a group that loves water activities followed by great food, this place was perfect. We used the 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards daily, swam lots and made great use of the kitchen, which had a great selection of good cookware and knives. As it was post Labour Day, it was very quiet on the lake and in the community. We loved our week at the Lake House. Thank you.

Sockeye Salmon and warm October lakefront

This home was immaculate and felt like exactly what we needed for a brief family getaway to view the Adams River salmon run. Waking up to the sparkling water through the giant picture windows all through the home was amazing. With the nicest sandy beach on the lake and fantastic huge deck and fire spot out front, we enjoyed the beautiful warm fall weather to the fullest. The landscaping and attention to detail in decor was both inviting and a treat. We are a family of six, with preschool to teen aged kids, so the three bathrooms and large open floorplan and bedrooms were perfect. The host provided us with all the details for the home which made planning for our stay a breeze. The area is close enough to anything you might need and we would come back in a heartbeat to explore more.

Great house but you should expect to pay an extra charge to the property manager for checkout. Very dishonest practise when you are already paying a very high cleaning charge.

Ideal Shuswap Experience

Waited two years for our vacation at this rental and it was worth it. The house is beautiful and the separate bedroom/sitting area/bathroom off the kitchen was perfect for the young adults. The beds were so comfy. All the appliances were great too. Coffee machine rocked! Air conditioner in the kitchen kept the house cool, was amazing. Fans in the bedrooms were great! The back deck has plenty of relaxing seating, flat walk out to the beach and there’s also nice dock for the boat. Kayaks are in great shape. Didn’t use the paddle boards but it was nice to know they were there. Also used the bikes. 👍🏼 There is a user friendly path all the way to Scotch Creek grocery store. Neighbours were nice and we enjoyed meeting their dogs on the beach. Perfect location as the sun shines forever in the day, close to Copper Island, close to Shuswap marina for fill ups and Scotch Creek grocery/liquor store/pizza is 2 minutes away. We also went to the Scotch Creek Fun Centre for mini golf (bowling, arcade, pool there too) This home was a perfect rental and highly recommended.

We came for a girls get together and we had a lovely experience. The place looked exactly like the pictures. It is a great spot to keep everyone together. Although the rules were lengthy, those in charge were easy to contact and have everything running very smoothly. Great for a peaceful getway.

I booked this property in the early days of the pandemic. Occasionally, my kids would ask if were still going and I insisted we were. It was the ONLY thing any of us had to look forward to in a very long, frustrating year. Despite our trip falling at the very end of August…it was the best family trip we have. The property and location are OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so grateful to finally have an opportunity to be together and this was the ideal location. While the pictures are certainly beautiful, but you really do have to see it in person. We have certain kitchen related things that we always bring for our own food meals prep…but the home is outfitted extremely well. For our urban living grandkids, being able to play on the beach, go tubing and see the stars at night, was incredible. For the rest of us…it was the best medicine for mental health. I’ll leave you with the words of our 10 year old grandson who happily sat on my husband’s lap one night, star watching and exclaimed, “This is way better than an iPad.”

Laurissa is super friendly and quick to respond all inquiries. Well setup kitchen with utensils and supplies, stocked with multiple spices and other assorted needs. Very spacious for the eight of us with a great area for spending time together with enough room for private time as well. Has a canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards, dock and buoy. Amazing patio with comfortable furnishings. Really great space for families to spend quality together enjoying the lake and everything the area has to offer! Awesome summer getaway!

We shared this beautiful house, in a spectacular location, for a week with friends (two families of four; two sets of teenaged boys). Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out, relax and enjoy - both inside and out. The house is super clean, organized and well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation — from high-end appliances, to helpful home technologies, to useful kitchen accessories, to fun land and water toys. The beach / waterfront are just steps off the property and the private dock made accessing our boat so easy and convenient. Laurissa and her team are wonderful, accommodating hosts who are quick to respond to questions and requests. We highly recommend this property and hope to return one day in the future!
