One of the 'Lost Villages of the Corbières', it has just 66 permanent inhabitants, although in summer this swells to over 100 as holidaymakers come to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are no shops in the village, so please make sure you bring what you need with you
The house is fully equipped for up to 4 adults and 2 children sleeping in 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and single bed or bunk beds. There is an open plan living area with feature fireplace, shower room and utility room with 2nd toilet, washing machine and dishwasher.
The large terrace is partly shaded in summer and is fully furnished to take full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle of the area,
The views from the house are stunning as it overlooks the valley where the River Berre has its source.
It's a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, with miles of marked walks through the wooded hills.
It's also a great place for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, with easy access to all amenities in nearby towns, and the fantastic Mediterranean beaches less than an hour's drive away.
There is a summer Street Restaurant serving Tapas, sharing plates, drinks and snacks only a minute's walk from the house. There you can also order take away food and buy wine from the Caveau. They do regular themed evenings as well, and together with the occasional village fete, this is a great way to meet some of the locals.
