Planning a mountain vacation does not have to break the bank. That is where our 2 bedroom, 2 bath Sugar Mountain condo at Misty Woods comes in. The condo is about halfway up the mountain and sits right off one of the popular hiking and biking trails that connects to the resorts new biking park. It is a great location for getting out for a hike. The condo has both front and rear covered porches as well. The living area has wood flooring and a gas log fireplace, and the kitchen has new granite and cabinets, too. The condo is conveniently located within minutes of shopping and dining and makes a great place to come home to after a long day of mountain fun.

Sugar Mountain Resort is just moments away from this condo, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours and a full golf course. There are plenty of restaurants close by, including Reid's Cafe and Elevations Restaurant. Sightseeing is plentiful in this area as well, such as the Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, Mile High Swinging Bridge and Grandfather State Park.

Great location and good calue

My son and I went skiing and had a great time. The place was clean and comfortable. Perfect location to catch the shuttle to Sugar Mountain!

Perfect place for quick trip

The check in was easy, the place was as advertised, and it was a real benefit having parking on site for our car. Everything was clean, had towles and linens. Had we stayed longer, it would be nice to have more things to cook with, but it was totally adequate for a short stay. Loved having two bathrooms - and two bedrooms. Optimal location to mountain and to grocery store.

Ski Weekend

Great place for a few adults to spend the night on a ski weekend. Not located on the actual slopes, but just a short drive away. Steep winding roads to access, so take the recommendation to have 4WD seriously. Property was clean and pleasant, with a nice view of the valley.

Property is conveniently located although is farther than what it is advertised - it is close to a couple miles from the resort instead of 0.6 as advertised. The property needs some updating, the heaters are very old and noisy, if you are taking a shower other faucets can't be open because the water in shower becomes freezing - floors need a bit of maintenance.
