Boat parking was great. We caught fish off the dock and the boat ramps were so close!

We always appreciate guest like Ken & his companions. They left the unit extremely clean, and were great with communication. Thank you and we welcome you back anytime!
Beautiful property on the lake. Easy access to 85 and Lake Hartwell. The gathering spaces are great, from a spacious open kitchen and living room to the comfy screened in porch. It's on our list of places to come back to when we can spend more time on the lake.
Pleasant stay, needs a walkway to porch from parking. Very dark at night and uneven terrain makes it a little challenging.

Wonderful guest, they left the unit so clean it was hard to tell anyone was there. I apologize if porch lights were not on. Yes, it is dark, we actually had the street light by the porch cut off because guest had trouble with the bugs that it attracted. It was a electric company light that stayed on all the time, and so along with bugs came the spiders and webs. We have a couple of projects planned for that property this winter and a stone path is planned. Thank you for booking your trip with us!
Great value for the price. Everything was spotless and in good repair. The back porch is great and we loved being right on the lake. The dock has a kayak launch and is in great shape. Can’t say enough nice things.
We had a wonderful, relaxing vacay getaway at this sweet spot on the lake. Lots of late night fishing, laughs & memories made. The sunsets were breathtaking!
The property was great! The slope to the dock was a little steeper and further than we thought it would be. But overall we really enjoyed ourselves and having some time just for our family.
We were here for a bass tournament, and it was excellent for this. We also brought our families and the pictures were a little deceptive in the size of the bedrooms and bathroom. But the common area was great and we spent a lot of time there. I would say this is perfect for the tournament angler or the family that is ok with smaller bathroom and bedrooms, but families that are used to a little more room may want to look elsewhere.
This was our second time staying at the property, and it was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious, and great location on lake! Owners have made some additional updates since our last stay, making it even nicer. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others!
Second stay for us. Just wife and I last summer, but returned for five days with my college age kids and my parents. Everything was perfect and the time was too short. Hopefully we can stay longer next time.
While everything was great last year, some nice improvements have been made, including some new furniture and Wi-Fi. Had a great time at the dock and cooking/grilling in evening. Rented a boat for a day, and played golf at Clemson’s Walker Course.
House with a comfortable great room on a lovely part of Lake Hartwell
Cindy texted us when she had finished cleaning, so we could get in before the official check-in time. We appreciated that. We loved swimming in this part of Lake Hartwell. The water is deep and wide. We enjoyed seeing a heron at some point during every day of our stay.
The great room (kitchen, living room, and dining area, and bathroom/laundry room) have been updated and are very comfortable and attractive. I was struck by how clean the sofas are. My husband enjoyed sitting on the screened porch. Watch out for the small area between the kitchen counter and the island where the floor sinks a little when you step on it.
The bedrooms and master bath have not been updated and are less spacious. Someone with claustrophobia might be uncomfortable in the master bath. The two of us spent almost all of our time in the updated parts of the house, so we had a wonderful stay.
The house was perfect and exactly as described. We could not have been happier with the location on the lake as well. It was perfect for swimming, fishing and even watching wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for an osprey that will come by several times a day and grab a fish! We can't wait to come back!
The property is really cute, and right on the lake. The house was rebuilt with emphasis on the family (large kitchen and large living room) and less on where you sleep. Great dock to tie your boat/kayaks to and nice little back porch to sip coffee on in the early morning.
A month went by too quickly for this beautifully located house on Lake Hartwell. Located in a quiet cove called Reed Creek, there not many boats that would pass by the dock. Skilled fishermen know this cove due to the abundance of fish, families on pontoons come here for safe swimming. Jet skis like this cove for doing circles.
At one point I had over 12 friends with their kids and everyone was completely satisfied with their stays, hoping to come back next year. And sleeping space for all of them. The wide open kitchen makes it easy to gather round to help with cooking and conversations since we haven’t been together in over 8 months.
Dock was easy in n out of the water. The kids as well as adults enjoyed it. So clean you can see your feet while floating.
The blue herons across the way was an instant conversation starter as in, “What the H is that?” We are in Jurassic Park and those are the pterodactyls!!
Groceries are a bit of a drive, a Dollar General 4 miles away. No fast foods so kids had to eat “real meals”!
The screened in porch had limited seating, take your park chairs and use them on the dock as well.
Plenty of towels, sheets and linen supplies.
An overall great place to stay. 💯
We had a great time at this property. The bedrooms are pretty small but it didn’t matter as the great room and kitchen are very spacious and remodeled. The property just got WiFi which was awesome for our one rainy afternoon. Cindy was wonderful to deal with and the binder filled with info was so very helpful.
The home & location was just what we’d hoped to find while in the area visiting family.
Cindy even called to make sure we had been able to easily check in at the home and that she was available should we need anything during our stay. Everything was well maintained and clean and the kitchen had anything we needed for meal preparation.
The view was beautiful and the area was peaceful & quiet. We would absolutely recommend this property and would stay here again ourselves.
Thank you for being such a wonderful host Cindy!
Very open and spacious living, dining and kitchen area for gathering and relaxing! Very comfortable finishes throughout the home. Bedrooms a bit tight but perfect for our family of 4 with good size closets and definitely plenty of room for even a family of 6 with the pull out trundle bed and comfy sleeper sofa as well. Cindy was amazimg to work with for the check in and checkout procedures. She even came out when we got there and walked us thru all of the features of the home. Great fishing from dock alone, great nature sights on a quiet cove. We had a great time, slept and relaxed in peace! Cant wait to visit again!
This was originally a 1974 Fucura mobile home, with all original dark paneling, Gold Retro kitchen with yellow wood look paneling. All sinks & cast iron tubs were Pea Soup Green. My husband & I set out to do a full remodel; however, if you rent this home, you may notice the front half is all we have completed so far. The plan is to take a 2 year break and then finish the bedrooms and master bath. All the bedrooms have been freshened up, and are clean. Our family really enjoys the occasional getaway to this small nautical retreat and we hope you will feel the same!
