Location, location, location. Our charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath Florida beach cottage which is over 800 sq. feet and sleeps 2 which we call the "Dolphin Cottage" is across the street from the soft white sand of the world famous Siesta Key Beach which is consistently rated the best beach in the United States (you will be a 5 minutes walk from Access 7). Enjoy the amazing sunsets each night of your stay without the hassles of traffic, parking, and crowds.

You will also be 2 blocks from Siesta Key Village, www.escape-to-sarasota.com/siesta-key-village, and its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. Park your car and forget about driving as you walk or bike and feel like a local as you enjoy our special piece of heaven.

Downtown Sarasota, which is a brief ride or Uber away, is world renowned and known for its cultural institutions, gourmet restaurants, art galleries, theater, the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art, and the Ringlings' breathtaking house, Ca'd'Zan, on Sarasota Bay. Also visit the very entertaining Ringling Circus Museum, www.visitsaratoa.

After a day in the sun, beach combing, boating, or shopping enjoy a drink on your private patio after you have taken advantage of the outdoor shower. Your cottage has all the amenities from beach chairs to Wi-Fi and cable. Perfect get-a-way!

It was everything we were looking for and more! A perfect location to the beach and the shops. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Eric the Property Manager was awesome and very wonderful to help us navigate some things. We were glad to vacation in Florida and coming from Iowa we will be back again someday!

Castle Vacation

We had alot of fun here. The cottage is very close to the beach and Siesta Village where you can visit every day and not get bored. We had some of the best seafood and even though it rained and was overcast throughout our vacation we will come here again.

What a location! We did not even rent a car because we could walk wherever we needed to go. So close to the beach, the village and the free trolley. The unit was very Florida!

Charming, Quiet, Perfect Get-Away Location

The host is very prompt in communicating! Lots of extras we weren’t expecting, like beach gear, bikes for cruising around the key, water, ice and cooler, + dessert & bubbly for celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We will definitely stay again. Loved being in walking distance to beach & the siesta key square for yummy food & fun.

This property is a 5min walk to the Village AND the Beach! Decorated perfectly. Communication and check in with property manager easy and they actually provided a bottle of Champagne for a birthday weekend!! We will be back!

Great location and space

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway. The location was perfect — a quick and easy walk to both the beach and the village. The place had a nice kitchen, one good sized bedroom and bathroom, which worked well for the two of us. The beach chairs were a great perk and we enjoyed the outdoor patio space. The host was kind and the property manager reached out before checkin to welcome us and explain the process (which was simple). I would definitely stay here again :)

Great location- no internet

The property is in a great location for getting to town or The beach. However there is no internet so streaming is impossible and the bed and sofas were very uncomfortable!

Relaxing home away from home

Cozy place, perfect for two. Close to the beach and close to the village. So once you get the Key, park the car and don't get back in it until the drive to the airport. We have been to the Key many times and found this the best fit of any place for us. It was a wonderful time with excellent host. Eric is a very likable and responsive Property Manager, and it was pleasure to stay here for the first time but it will not be our last.......

Nice but could be a little cleaner

Everything was nice but older and needed cleaning. Location and comfort was great. Kitchen oven and outdoor BBQ could use a good cleaning and living room furniture were dated. Overall very nice, but after a day at the beach it was hard to cook and we just went out to eat.

Great stay!

We loved it here had everything we needed, very thoughtful supply stock for house and beach. It was clean. Great communication from owner. Our stay was pretty quiet, except for, if your neighbors hang on the front porch. You can hear every word if you don’t have the tv or music on. But if you do have stuff on you won’t hear them much. Great location!

The perfect getaway

This property is perfect if you enjoy the beach. It’s literally 150 steps to access 7. The village is a 3-4 minute walk. It also has a wonderful patio and a gas grill if you enjoy making a dinner at home. The place is clean and well stocked. It has the Florida beach vibe which we enjoy rather than a stuffy condo. Property manager was quick to respond. We will definitely rebook when we return to SK!

Great location.

This was a nice property. The location was perfect, 5 5-minute walk to the beach and a short bicycle ride to the Village. At first glance, the place was decently cleaned, but that was not the case. There was dust literally everywhere, and in the bathroom, there was hair from other people, not only on the floor but also in the shower. We also found a quarter-sized spot of blood on the comforter which leads us to believe that they do not wash the comforters and reuse them. Other than needing some serious updating of new furniture and a deep clean, it was a good stay.

Cozy, Clean, and Close to Everything

In the past, I had some negative experiences with rental properties. But, Debbie's Cottage returned my faith in them. The place looks exactly as it does in the pictures, and the check-in process was seamless. I had a question during the trip, and Debbie answered probably in less than 5 minutes. There's everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach on this property, including bikes, beach chairs, and towels. The weather wasn't perfect when we visited, but at least the cottage was great, and we were able to relax on it while it was pouring outside. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Stay

I can’t recommend this property enough! Great location, walking distance from the village and one block from the beach, and has everything you could need for your beach vacation. The host was very accommodating and we had a wonderful trip!
