Nice stay IN JULY 2021

THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE IS GREAT -RIGHT ON THE LAKE. HAS A NICE VIEW FROM THE FRONT. 8 OF US DID SLEEP COMFORTABLY. IT IS VERY HOT IN SUMMER, A LOTS OF MOSQUITOS! BE PREPARE- NOTHING HELPS, AND I MEAN- NOTHING!! THERE IS AIR CONDITIONER ONLY IN THE DINNING ROOM WINDOW,AND IT GETS PRITY HOT IN THE ROOMS EVEN THOUGH FANS WERE PROVIDED BY THE OWNER. OVER ALL WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE CABINE. IT WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. CANOES AND PEDAL BOAT WERE VERY NICE ADDITION. COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER WAS GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL .

Nice place/Nice location

The couple issues we had were the dock was not big enough for my boat to have the option of leaving the boat in the water, but not a huge deal since I wanted to try multiple lakes. Also, we had to take our own garbage with us which was the first time I've had to do that since renting cabins through VRBO. Also, the outside garbage can was already packed full when we arrived so we couldn't even use that container. Other than these few things the place itself was clean and comfortable.

Exactly what we needed

This property was perfect for our annual fishing trip. Great location on the lake with plenty of parking for our boat. Property was clean, the cabin was clean, and the check-in check-out process was clear. The owner has a really cool spot on Van Vliet lake with a pier and a great view of the lake. The only thing I would suggest would be to have more dish and hand soap available as well as paper towels and toilet paper. Otherwise everything was great. Would book again!

ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND

The property was great for a family or fishing group, to big for just the two of us, very well stocked with supplies if you forgot something. The kayaks were nice as well as the weber grill. I wish we had a boat that we would have had access to the beautiful lake. Fishing off the dock was good though. Joe always replied promptly to my calls.

Wonderful location on Van Vliet

This property is in a wonderful location on Van Vliet. The owner is very responsive. It is very quiet and easy to find with outstanding access to the lake. The new family room in the basement will be outstanding when it is complete. (It was great now, but not completely finished). It has everything needed for a vacation in the Northwoods.
