This wonderful 1bed/1bath townhouse sits right on the beach promenade of Pacifica and the Pacifica Pier (see aerial photo). End each day with a breathtaking view of the Pacific sunset on your private front patio or entertain friends in your large landscaped back yard (with BBQ!). Italian hand tiled bathroom with spa quality Grohe rainfall shower with sliced Indonesian beach pebble floor.

Many restaurants, cafes, shops and yoga are within walking distance.

The interior of the unit is expertly renovated with hardwood floors and a bedroom with super comfy Queen bed and Japanese style doors that lead to the living room. Living room and dining area are a bright open floor plan with a very cozy gas fireplace that heats the house well when the cool sea breeze comes through at night. 50" HD LED TV with Direct TV included

Kitchen is fully equipped with Quartz countertops and a gas stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, fridge, toaster and water kettle. Plenty of cookware and dinnerware included.

Washer and Dryer are included inside the unit.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was a cozy, clean, conveniently located place to be during our visit to Pacifica. Communication with Carlos was easy and quick. The location is wonderful, and we enjoyed listening to the waves through our open window at night.

We really enjoyed this community, with all the activity on the pier and a daily parade of dog walkers. The residence was clean and comfortable. It was nice to find everything we needed to make coffee on our first morning was already provided. Bright little residence with a front row view of the ocean and several viewing options both inside and out.

FANTASTIC

Sounds of the ocean 24/7 even with the windows closed. There is a restaurant on the pier is just footsteps away with good coffee. The house is amazing, the skylights let an abundance of natural light in. Would love to come back one day.

The Mermaid

Great location with so many things to do in the area. This time there were whales right by the pier. You can sit on the back patio and take it all in. This was our second time there and we will be back again.

Great stay

Some things weren’t cleaned enough but otherwise, the place was awesome. The backyard is perfect for family gatherings. It has a grill, a fire pit, lots of tables and chairs, huge space, and the frontyard was big. We loved how many windows there were and the scenery was great! Would love to stay again.

Beautiful place!

The house was adorable and perfect for our small trip! We had everything we needed, the only thing I would say is that there is no AC. We did not know that, but we made it work with the beautiful breeze from the ocean right out our back door! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Baseball Weekend!

Love this place. So bright with natural light! Clean! Snacks and wine greeted us when we walked in! Right across the street from the ocean. You can hear the waves all night long!! The sunset was beautiful fright from the back deck!! Saw a whale also!! Would definitely stay here again!

It was perfect

The location was great. Clearly being on the ocean is amazing, with the views, sound of the waves, salt air and so forth. But being across from the pier, with all the foot traffic, families, and fishermen, really connects you with the local scene and culture. There's a lot of energy. If you want a remote private place, it's not for you. But we loved it this way. The unit itself was ideal, spacious and open inside and out. All the amenities are there for moving right in. Plenty of shops nearby, and with good proximity to the cities and nearby beach towns.

This place definitely deserves 5 stars! This beach home experience is better than I expected. Before I check in, I just hope that's not an old smelly house . No, I am wrong ! It is such a modern , elegant , bright and airy house . Not mention the perfect location on the beach side. The host supply the home with good quality stuff, like fresh flowers ( the other hosts home usually plastic flowers), good wine and other healthy snacks and beverages. The cooking oil is my favorite brand from Trader Joe's organic olive oil. The host pay attention to the details and take care about the healthy and natural. I want to recommend this place to the people want to have a beautiful vacation and still keep their healthy lifestyle . Millions of thanks!

Perfect getaway!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mermaid sanctuary. The location can’t be beat…right across the street from the pier and the Chit Chat Cafe. We spent hours sitting on the lounge chairs facing the ocean, taking in the salty sea air ❤️. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. The backyard was amazing…furnished with a large dining table, bar stools overlooking the fence to watch the waves, BBQ, gas fire pit and even an outdoor shower! The house was clean and exactly as depicted in the listing. Communication with Carlos was super easy. We had an issue with the string lights in the backyard the first night and he was there first thing the next morning to fix it. Thank you Carlos! The only negative thing we have to say about our stay is that the mattress was too soft for our liking-but that is just a preference thing. We will definitely be back for another stay!
