Whether you are looking for a vacation rental or searching for that future retirement home Ocean Village on Florida's Treasure Coast offers more amenities for your vacation dollar than just about any oceanfront resort in Florida. This quiet, peaceful resort is located in Ft. Pierce on South Hutchinson Island about 90 minutes north of West Palm Beach, 2 hours to Disney World, 1/2 hour north of Stuart, 15 minutes from Jensen Beach and 1/2 hour south of Vero Beach. We are located 2 miles south of the northern tip of South Hutchinson Island. We have a recently updated, ground floor 1BR 1 BR villa in the 700 building of the Ocean Villas II cluster with a view of the golf course. It features a king-sized bed and a fully stocked kitchen. It is centrally located within the resort and is a short 200 yard walk to a beautiful beach.

You would be hard pressed to discover another resort with comparable amenities, park-like setting and the peace and security that Ocean Village provides. Ocean Village offers: 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom units in mid or hi-rise buildings; a gated community; Restaurant, Tiki-Bar, a 9-Hole Executive Golf Course; Tennis Courts; Heated Swimming Pools; Jacuzzi; Sauna; Exercise Room; Clubhouses; 3,000 feet of Ocean Beach!

Located on Florida's Treasure Coast, on South Hutchinson Island, Ocean Village is just a short drive to Walt Disney World in Orlando and the Miami or Palm Beach attractions. It is located on an unspoiled island which gives Ocean Village visitors an intimate involvement with the sea and to the soft sub-tropical climate that makes year round living a pleasure.

Ocean Village has many activities you may enjoy as well as a Recreation Department to help entertain you during your visit.

Fishing: The beach at Ocean Village is a great place to surf fish for Bluefish, Pompano and other species all year round. Also, there is excellent fishing at the South Jetty at Fort Pierce Inlet. The PP Cobb Bridge which connects S. Hutchinson Island with the town of Fort Pierce also has 2 catwalks which offer excellent Indian River fishing as well. There is also great fishing 10 minutes north on the Little Jim Bridge on the causeway to North Hutchinson Island.

Grapefruit League Baseball: Grapefruit League Baseball Ocean Village is within a half hour drive of the LA Dodgers (Vero Beach) and NY Mets (St. Lucie West) Spring Training Camps...In addition, once spring training ends in early April, the minor league affiliates of both teams (Vero Beach Dodgers & St. Lucie Mets) play a full season of Class A Florida League baseball at these same sites from April to mid-September. Most of these minor league games are played at night and are very inexpensive. You can find discount coupons for many of the Mets games in many convenience stores and in the local media. Although you've probably never heard of most of the players, it's a very enjoyable way to spend an evening.

Everything you want

Great location on Hutchinson Island, there is golf, tennis, swimming and even the beach just steps from the front door. The property has everything we needed, we felt right at home. The owner, Jeff was fantastic with his communication! We look forward to staying at this property again in the future.

Great week for relaxing

It was quiet, close to the pool & beach. We enjoyed the pool every day. We would then take a drive in the afternoon. The unit is fully stocked with everything you need and more. Beach chairs were too low for us to use as we are in our 70’s but do not have a problem bringing our own. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Jeff & Nancy!!!

We can't rate this high enough, the condo is perfectly clean well appointed with all you need for your stay. Condo owner is readily available if needed. Condo Resort has all you need for a relaxing vacation and the beach is such a short walk for morning walk, mid day swim, or evening stroll. Highly recommend, we will be back!

OV713 was a wonderful unit in Ocean Village. The amenities both inside and out were much appreciated and enjoyed. All the little extras provided were perfect. We took advantage of many of the activities including golf, pools, bingo, euchre, trivia, restaurant, and of course, the beach. Jeff was a very accommodating and considerate host, checking on us several times throughout our month’s stay. Wonderful stay

Stayed for two weeks with my wife and found the property to be excellent. Very close to the main pool and Tiki bar. I'm not a golfer but the first tee was just outside the back door. The grounds were very well maintained. Lots of restaurants close by. Jeff contacted us to make sure we got settled in and answered our questions. I would definitely go back.

Our 5th year at OV and first time renting this location. Very clean, great bed and comfortable furniture. Unit has been updated with new features. Awesome vacation

My husband and I live on Topsail Island and own two oceanfront rental properties. Even though we live in paradise, the craziness of every day life made us realize we needed to get away for some alone time. Our trip was better than we could have imagined. The condo was clean, well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the entire resort was beautiful. The grounds are quite impressive and very well maintained. Enjoyed a great week at Ocean Village. The condo was perfectly situated within the community with easy access to the beach and all the amenities including the 9-hole golf course where the fairways and greens were well maintained and in great shape. The condo was clean, updated, and equipped with everything you may need and want. Jeff the condo owner was a very good communicator and always available to answer questions. The entire area of Hutchinson Island is great for bicycling which we took full advantage of. Overall we had a wonderful time in a perfect location!

Another Great Stay!

My wife and I try to get down to Ocean Village once a year / once every couple of years. This stay was fantastic as always! Jeff, the condo owner, continues to make sure we're well taken care of. He communicates before arrival, once or twice during the stay and after checkout. He's always available and is quick to solve any issues! The condo is perfect and clean! Thank you Jeff for making sure it remains clean! Anything anyone could want to enjoy a stay, you'll find here. All sorts of sporting equipment to participate in any of the activities around the property are here too! It really is a great condo and the owners clearly take pride in keeping it up-to-date and comfortable, which just ensures a stress free vacation for those staying here. We'll be back!!

My husband and I bought this property in 2001. We hoped to make it our retirement nest one day. Over the years we have worked hard to make improvements. Kitchen - 2015, Bathroom - 2019. We want our condo to feel like a second home. Jeff has his own residential appraisal business and I am a retired teacher in the Detroit Public Schools.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Ocean Village upon first sight. The grounds are amazing with lush, tropical vegetation. The people are friendly and the buildings are well maintained. We love to play the nine hole golf course and of course hang-out at the pool and Tiki Bar.

What makes this property unique

There are many 1 bedroom condos in Ocean Village to choose from but most of them are strictly income properties. What makes ours different is that we spend several months living in our unit so that we know exactly what needs fixing or updating. We put in a lot of time making it look perfect. You can tell that it is our second home.
