Sea Green Cottage - Delightful tidal oceanfront camp

Sitting on the waters' edge of Greenlaw Cove in a peaceful, serene setting, this delightful, well-kept and immaculate camp exudes old Maine charm. With a gabled ceiling, pine interior, sunroom and open floor plan, this cozy cottage, perfect for two, has a spacious interior feel. The deck running along the front overlooks the cove and offers a lovely vantage point for watching the seabirds and occasional seal and otter. Besides a queen bed there is a futon for overnight guests. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore the pretty and protected area at mid to high tide. This cottage is dog friendly but no cats please.

Exploring a new area

We decided to come to deer isle to explore a new area of the Maine coast since MDI and bar harbor were getting too crowded. The area where the cottage sits is beautiful and peaceful just like we wanted. The house was bigger than we expected. The house was very clean! The washer and dryer were great with a 12 year old getting in the muck. The only downside to the place was at low tide we couldn’t go down because it was mud flats. We were able to fish and kayak 3 hours before and after high tide. Plenty of other areas to go during low tide.

Watchin the tide come in

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Green Cottage - 20' away from the high tide! Wonderful watching the water come in and go all the way out of the cove from the deck or from the many windows. We had chilly rainy days and the wood stove is well stocked and warmed the whole cottage. It is very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom does not have a ceiling of it's own and is located in the bedroom. Sound privacy might be an issue for shy folks. The cottage location is close to many public walks and access to the salt water shoreline. We would rent it again.

Wonderful stay

A gem.. perfect location, very clean. It is obvious that the cabin was equipped with a clear intention to make sure it has all the guests could think of, Mike the owner very helpful and friendly. Exceeded all expectations
