LAKEFRONT LUXURY 3 STORY home is on the point of Soda Bay - in Kelseyville! Property is Located halfway between Lakeport and the town of Clear Lake.
The house is located on the lake in Kelseyville with over 10 wineries and 16, easy to hard, hiking trails (refer to our Soda Bay Point Lodge welcome binder for more details about our local wineries and hiking trails)
Property has a 180-degree spectacular panoramic view of the lake, mountains, sky and wildlife right off the 2 stories of lake front decks. Lounge on our outdoor sofa on the top deck or hang out on the lower deck in one of the chaise lounges, play cards or enjoy a BBQ dinner at the outdoor table for 8, or sip coffee on the dock in one of the cafe chairs. From the edge of the dock, you do not see any other neighbors or docks! Only hints of lights across the water far away in other towns around the lake.

Easy access to your boat at the properties' own Boat Dock. The famous Soda Hot Springs are about 100 yards off the property. The property has no boat launch. Boats can be launched from, and trailer stored at Clearlake Vista Marina, Boat launch located at 6190 Soda Bay Road. (707) 289-4017, there is a daily fee. please contact the Marina.

WIFI and Smart TVs with Netflix, YouTube, Yahoo provided. Or login to your own favorite entertainment provider. The kitchen is equipped with pots/pans and enough place settings/cutlery for 10 two times a day. Also, a coffee maker, a Keurig, toaster and blender! There is a Gas BBQ in the backyard.

Multiple vineyards, Indian Casinos, hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing, water sports, boat up bars and grills (all around California's LARGEST lake (19 miles x 8 miles), Noted as the BEST BASS FISHING lake in the West), sailing regattas, fishing tournaments, vintage boat shows, golfing, cycling and more. This is a great place, definitely 5 star accommodations. The owners have given thought to all of the little things one might need in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. It made for a really fun and relaxing vacation.

Awesome location.

Awesome location for some great fishing. Also, John was great at communicating with us anytime we had a question. The views from the balcony in the morning and evenings were great. Hopefully, I can return in the future.

Gorgeous view

Overall I was quite impressed. The view and the location on the water is exceptional. The only negatives is the road from the main road. It's not very long, and it is drivable, but it is very disconcerting. The only other issue is there's three levels so you're going up and down quite a few stairs, stairs and no bathroom on the main level

Awesome House on the Water

This house was perfect for hanging by the lake with friends. The kitchen and decks provide plenty of space to cook and entertain. Plus John is easy to get a hold of and was able to drop of additional propane to ensure we'd be able to grill all weekend.

Had a great time amid low water levels

Property and house was super clean! Very nice and amazing lake views! Water levels were low but that means more penninsula exposed for exploring by our toddlers. No luck fishing for us and was too windy for toddlers in a kayak, but lots of fisherman caught near us / in front of us. Would love to see house again when water levels are full but all in all we loved our stay!

Great waterfront property with Dock

Inside was clean and accurate listing. Dock should have plug in access for boats that need battery charging. Tight roads to get to property and absolutely cannot have trailers as indicated. I launched out of State Park and they let me leave my trailer there so was very convenient. Would have been good to have downstairs patio chairs and table set up. Check in is very late but otherwise great place to hang out with friends for the weekend.

Great Fishing Dock

This is a great property. It is a newer home on the lake and is well maintained. We caught a few huge catfish off of the dock. One was 13.88 lbs. We had a few minor issues which I reported to the manger. Upon our arrival, we noticed a chair leg was broken in the living room, a latch on the gate to the dock was broken and we were unable to use the tv downstairs. I notified the manger on our last day, since these issues didn’t affect us to much. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the property. One other thing I would mention. The property next door (3001)was rented to a group who partied and played heavy metal into the night. One night, they were up ‘til well past 2 in the morning. This was our first time renting on the lake in the summer, so, it should be noted that this may be a seasonal possibility if you want to stay here. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay immensely. We saw bald eagles, various other birds and bats at night!

Lake is disgusting, leaches in water. No fireworks

The house itself is beautiful and views are amazing but the outside was not maintained i.e. spider webs, bird droppings and dust all over furniture and deck, ants etc.. If you are expecting a "lake house" this is not the place. The water is disgusting like really really disgusting. Leaches, moss, dead fish floating, algae, trash etc. The water doesn't come close to the house at all and where it is close it's disgusting and stinks. It's almost as if the town was abandoned and the locals knew not to swim here but we had no idea came expecting to swim but eww. Literally like a beautiful home on a swamp. Thought we would see fireworks on the lake but you cannot see them at all. Drove to lower lake for fireworks and it was like tweaker central hills have eyes vibes.

No Water Access!

We had a good time and made the best of the situation. John was very kind and responsive until I sent a personal DM inquiring about the lake level and access to the dock. Radio silence. House was very clean inside yet was difficult for my family to relax and enjoy the patio/outside as there was so many swallow birds flying around making nests all over the house and the bird poop was excessive on decks and furniture. So many swallows we actually had one fly inside as we entered the house. We were able to catch and release unharmed but we were not able to use the outside deck other than the BBQ. The dock was inaccessible for our boat and had to drive 20min to launch the boat daily due to Clearlake Vista Launch ramp being closed (low water level) as that was the recommended marina to launch. Minimal parking for boats and trailer. Overall had a good time and would like to see prices relative to the current lake conditions and advertisement. The lake is over 7' low and should reflect or update.

What a great location! One of the best areas of Clearlake and overlooks the Soda Bay Springs. The house was very comfortable and the views incredible. Really enjoyed the decks and dock, watching the wildlife and sunsets.

Excellent lake house retreat

The place worked out perfectly. The kids were able to sleep in one room. Apparently a great location for bass fishing if you have skills. Wonderful view, clean, and great outdoor seating. Will definitely revisit.

Property was great. We had an awesome time fishing and relaxing at the property. Check in and out process was easy. Communication with the manager (John) was quick and fast. John was great at getting me the info I needed to get situated even when he was on vacation. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect fishing trip

We celebrated my son 10 birthday here and had a blast. We caught a good amount of large catfish and blue gills. The house was very clean and will absolutely come back. Host was very nice and prompt about replying back. Ty for letting us use your beautiful home

Annual Family Trip

My family and I have stayed here for the last two years now. It is a perfect location for us with ample fishing and beautiful sunsets. You can’t beat the view. John (the owner) is always very responsive and accommodating! As our family has grown with two little ones, it is really nice to have the spacious house for everyone to have a little bit of their own space. The kitchen is stocked with new pots and pans and appliances like a toaster, blender, coffee maker. There is ample plates/silverware/baking items, limited salt/pepper and a few other seasonings. The only thing we would say to others visiting is that the house could use some better cleaning & maintenance of the outdoor front/back porches, the deck, and the outdoor furniture. The inside was mostly clean, despite the carpet in the living room needing to be vacuumed from visible dirt and stickers (there’s a vacuum in the entryway closet) and the tables wiped down (there were crumbs on the coffee table when we arrived). The outdoor table and chairs on the lower deck are completely covered with spiders so much so that they are completely unusable and starting to fall apart. The screens for the front and back doors are full of bugs. There is rodent poop all over the front porch at the front door so we mostly used the back entrance. It seems the house could just use a good deep clean and pressure wash. We hope to continue to enjoy this property in the future and recommend it to others!

Wonderful time

We were part of a Vintage Hydroplane event held at Buckingham and were the envy of many who attended. We hosted a small gathering of 15 people ( from all over the country) on Thursday and Sunday evenings and everyone were in awe of the views and beautiful home. Thanks

Exceptional Lakefront Property

I feel like we hit the jackpot finding this property! I can't imagine a more beautiful location on Clearlake. The house is on a point at Soda Bay. The views are magnificent and look out to a small island with a natural mineral spring. Each day we were surrounded by a variety of water fowl (Canadian geese, white pelicans, mallard ducks, cormorants, egrets, coots) that were very enjoyable to watch. The house had everything we needed and we would certainly stay there again.
