Welcome to Prominence North 94A - Happy Ours, a three bedroom two and a half bath townhome in Watersound, Florida. This pet friendly 30A, luxury vacation home was designed with your beach vacation in mind. Boasting luxurious coastal charm and upscale touches throughout, it’s no secret why this is one of the most coveted spots on 30A. This three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condo features space for eight along with a private shuttle to take you to the sugar-white beaches. There is also a six-seater golf cart available for a fee, making it even easier to get around. This condo is also right across from Prominence North 106C, with a shared sidewalk connecting the two condos. Large groups traveling together will love the close proximity!

Once you step inside Prominence North 94A - Happy Ours, you will instantly feel a sense of calm. Take in all the condo has to offer, from comfortable living room seating to a full kitchen outfitted with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. A large kitchen island accented by barstools and bright lighting allows for extra space when preparing meals. We enjoyed our stay here very much. There was plenty of room for 4 of us and could have fit more people if we had needed to. The Hub was very convenient across the street and public beach access was not too far away. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Location for Teens

Spent the week with my kids and their friends It’s perfect location for teens! Felt completely safe letting them run around in pairs to the pool, beach and the HUB . The boys even bikes 3 miles to get us all donuts one morning!

Perfect location!

It was perfect for my teens to venture off on there own. They made friends and enjoyed the pool and big chill! The only thing I think would make this place even better is to have more lighting out after dark. There was more than one occasion that kids just pull out in front of me and it was kinda hard to see them.

Great vacation rental on 30a

We enjoyed our stay. Super convenient location to walk across street to eat/ shop at The Hub. Plenty of room. Nice decor. Clean, neat accommodations. Kitchen especially well appointed. Zero complaints. Only downside: no convenient beach access nearby. This time of year, not a huge issue. If planning to go to beach every day, need to plan where best public access is when hauling gear for the day. Grayton Beach State Park is a good option not too far away.

Amazing!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The condo itself was super clean and very nice. We had one small issue with a gfi but someone was sent out to fix the situation very quickly. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. The Big Chill was just a short walk away and the beach was fairly close as well. The beach chairs were greatly appreciated. The only thing that would have made it a bit easier for the beach would be if beach towels were included. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Beach getaway before school!

All in all, one of the best places we’ve stayed. We were looking to get away from the “busyness” of Destin this year and this place was great. The property was clean and people staying in the same community (Prominence North) were very friendly. This unit had a lot of extras as well - from beach chairs, a kids wagon, beach toys and floats for the pool or beach. The unit also has complimentary bikes in the garage that we used a lot! Lots of families were around with kids from toddlers to high schoolers and we felt very comfortable letting our high schoolers and middle schoolers walk around and ride bikes. It is a plus if you get a golf cart but the Hub is literally across the highway and easily within a 3-4 min walk from the condo. We were a bit worried about how far it would be to be to the beach but the closest public access is less than a mile away and directly off the highway as well - very easy. Overall, we loved it and hope to stay again next year and bring other families to the Hub with us.

Great place, not so great cleaning

We loved the space and location. We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the unit. We reached out to the management company, because floors were very dirt, mirror had fingerprints on them, the spare pillows in the closets had dirt/hair on them, food particles were on the patio doors, fingernail on bathroom sink, and a comb stuck between the cushion and chair. After arriving the first night after 8pm, we had to go out to get detergent to clean them prior to going to sleep. They sent cleaners out two days later to clean the floors. It was just awkward for us as the renters to have to tell them what needed to be cleaned. We aren’t faulting the owners, this is a management issue.

Beautiful Home- Disappointing Amenities

The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and spotless — exactly as pictured, which we truly appreciated. There was plenty of room for everyone, and being right across from The Big Chill was a big plus, with food, music, and entertainment just steps away.However, you really need to read between the fine lines on this rental. The golf cart rental was a complete waste of money, since many of the nearby places on 30A do not allow any golf carts, which limited where we could go. This is also not the best property if your plan is to spend days at the beach. There are only two small public beaches in the area, and each has extremely limited parking — no more than about 30 spaces, which fill up fast by 9am. The pool water was disappointing. It looks beautiful in the listing photos, but in reality it was filthy every day we were there. Guests wake up very early to reserve pool chairs by putting towels down, so by 8:30 a.m. there were no chairs left, even though many of those chairs remain empty until late afternoon. One thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was that management staff came into the garage to take out trash cans, even though guests are asked to bring the trash to the street themselves. It was unexpected and felt like an invasion of privacy.Overall, while the home itself was lovely and the location across from The Big Chill was great, the limited beach access, golf cart rental, dirty pool water, and unexpected staff visits took away from the experience.

We expected a home this lovely to be very clean and sanitized. Not so! Floors, commodes, showers, sinks, it was almost unbearable. And let's just say that sanitation did not happen.
