About this property

A Brand New Home just built, 2020 first year renting. Come and stay in our Dream Home on Douglas Lake with beautiful distant Views and still right at the waters edge.
And SO SO close to all that Pigeon Forge and The Great Smoky Mtns have to offer.
A Luxury Home away from home. You won't want to leave. Wake up to a beautiful morning with the lake right out your front door and WOW what a sunset for the evening view. Lots of decking around the house to sit and enjoy and relax. 4 large king bedrooms each with their own view of the lake, also 2 queen bedrooms on lower level near game room. Foosball table and gas fireplace on 1st floor, another gas fireplace on second floor near master suite where you have an Extra large tile shower and soaker tub.
Included with your stay is access to a large dock down by the water. This dock houses our Luxury Tritoon boat that is available for you to rent for an additional fee. Check with the owners for availability. If you decide to bring your own boat, there is available space on the dock to tie down ONE additional water craft. There is a docking fee of $350.00 per watercraft. Of course, the dock is also available for kayaking, fishing, swimming, or a nice morning coffee or snack on the dock with a lake view.
Perfect location to be on the beautiful Douglas Lake and still only be minutes from all the Attractions nearby. Located in a private gated subdivision on the lake and yet only a short drive to anything you need—- Food City-2 miles, Dollywood- 8 miles, Pigeon Forge - 9 miles, Gatlinburg -14 miles, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mtns National Park only 16 miles away. Paved roads all the way to the front door.
Lots of nature to be seen at or near the house, we have seen deer, turkeys, turtles, raccoons, rabbits, geese, ducks, herring, bears, fox and of course fish jumping out of the water on occasion.
We would love to share our beautiful Home away from home with you and your family, So you can make some lasting memories just as we have.

Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Country only a short drive. New grocery store only 5 min drive.

**Please NOTE**
Our beautiful Douglas Lake is a Reservoir so lake levels will be low or gone depending on what time of the year you arrive. Water is usually at full capacity from the end of March through the end of September. After that depending on how much rain we have had, the levels will change. Please be sure to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about our Lake. The view is still beautiful regardless of water level.

Summer months book Fri. to Fri. ONLY (7 night min) also for holidays Christmas & Thanksgiving. Also DO NOT arrive before 4:00pm check-in day !

The best stay !

We had an amazing time at the lake house! Destiny went above and beyond for us and even had a small surprise waiting for my dad’s birthday! The house was fully equipped and everyone was so comfortable. Will def book this house again, the best experience we have had with a rental !

Anniversary family trip

We were very well pleased with our accommodations. A beautiful lake house that had it all. A little out of the way on a small winding road, but leads to an amazing view. I'm looking forward to booking again.

Wonderful place to get away with family

We had an amazing stay at this lake front property. The host provides SO many amenities that our entire group was constantly entertained. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat so much! The lake was gorgeous and we had otters swimming around us! We had kids from ages 6-17 and never heard a peep about being bored! The rooms were well appointed for our large group and there was plenty of seating for everyone. We wished we could have stayed a couple of extra days to do all there was to do! It is a private mountain lake paradise!

Hello, we have 4 wonderful children, I grew up here in East TN and have loved living and raising my children here for the last 26 years.

Why they chose this property

We had several of our cabins burn in the 2016 Wildfires that destroyed over 3,000 properties. Instead of rebuilding all my cabins in Gatlinburg, we wanted to rebuild bigger and better but this time on nearby Douglas Lake. Wow, best move ever, we believe.
Cabin is scheduled to start renting in 2020.

What makes this property unique

Great Location on the lake, lots of open water in front of cabin and wonderful for boat watching, you get to see multiple boats, jet ski's, Seadoo's and more all across the water as they all fish, ski, go by tubing, and swimming off their boats. Great Lake access and enjoyment while only minutes from all the fun that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. This is where we will retire to one day, come now and enjoy our lake home while we are renting it to other families so they can make memories here just as we have with our own family.
